Krakow

Krakow (Cracow) will always will be Krakow.

The amazing phenomenon of Krakow is its very existence, continuing despite all adversities such as the world wars and the industrialization of the modern word.

Krakow has retained much of their history and it stands with magnificence.

Krakow was the capital of Poland up to the 16th century and thereafter was retained as the place for the coronation of Polish kings within the Wawel Cathedral .

You can spend days visiting Krakow churches, the Wawel cathedral, and the many museums. You can also explore the 'Rynek' (Old City Marketplace) and spend all day discovering great music and good food, particularly the local golapki (pronounced gowompki), bigos, Krakow's pretzels and of course, pierogi.

The festivities on the Krakow Market Square take place all around the year
