Home description

This spacious beautiful villa, is set in its own grounds, with views of the mountains behind. The villa has a large garden, barbecue area, patio and its own swimming pool. The villa is situated on the outskirts of the village of Koycegiz, which is a quite village on the edge of Lake Koycegiz approximately 30 minutes drive from Dalaman airport.

There are plenty of cafe's, restaurants, shops within a 20 minute walk to the town square and lake front. There is also a supermarket that is a couple of minutes walk away. There are also Taxi's, Dolmus or car hire available.

The Villa benefits from a large open plan lounge and kitchen, with stone feature round dining area, including dining room table and chairs. The lounge has two sofa's and two arm chairs, satellite television & DVD player.video recorder.

Sliding glass patio doors leads to patio and swimming pool with sun beds to enable relaxation overlooking the pool and mountains. Under cover Stone Barbecue area with table and chairs also overlooking the pool.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

From May to October you can enjoy beautiful blue skies and sunshine. Koycegiz has a rich historical heritage, with charming country side views, mountains & lakes.

Places to visit:
Water fall
Only ten minutes drive from the villa, enjoy a stroll along a small rivine to Koycegiz waterfall, where you can swim in fresh water straight from the mountain.

Sultaniye Mud Baths & Hot Springs
Can visit by boat or car approx 25 minute drive with breath taking views of the lake on the way.

Serigerme
Beautiful white sandy beach, ideal for families. This beautiful beach has pretty gardens, and trees lining the walk way with tables and chairs under shaded areas and café’s and all amenities. (approx 30 minutes drive from the villa).

Dalyan
Pretty village, set on the pretty river that links koycegiz lake to the sea. There are lots of shops, restaurants and cafes, many set along side the river. You can also get many boat trips from here or get ferried across the river and visit the caves of Kounos and the ancient city of Kounos and amphitheatre.

Ekincik
Quite Beautiful sandy beach in secluded bay (approx 40 minutes drive with breathtaking views on the way.
Beyobasi
Approximately fifteen minutes away a selection of cafes built over the river.

Ley Ley
This restaurant is named after the stork that flies from Africa every summer and nests in the high trees around. This restaurant is set around a small lake with turtles and ducks, and a pretty waterfall that cascades from from the upper dining area (approx 20 minutes drive from villa).

Marmaris
Approximately one hour drive, beautiful sandy beach, bazaar, shops, restaurants, boat trips excursions ect.

Fethiye & Olu Denis
Approximately one hour drive, with beautiful views on the way. Olu Deniz the blue lagoon one of the most photographed beaches in Turkey. Stunning beautiful beach, banana boat rides, paragliding and much more
These are some of the places we have enjoyed visiting but there is still lots more to do.

Koycegiz area

Koycegiz is a traditional Turkish picturesque town, with stunning views over the water and mountains. The population of the town is relatively small and has an unspoilt feel. Koycegiz has a lovely setting with a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by delightful views.

Koycegiz is a working Turkish village, which has a large market every Monday, selling everything from clothes, rugs fruit vegetables and gifts. There are many café and shops in the town, with the town square leading to the lake front. There are a selection of restaurants where you can sit at the edge of the lake and enjoy the stunning view of the beautiful lake and surrounding mountains, you can also take daily boat trips to the a beautiful Iztuzu white sandy beach, home of the caretta caretta Turtles.

Whether you want a relaxing break or prefer to explore, the area has something for you. If your ideal holiday is relaxing by the pool enjoying beautiful views you can. If you prefer to explore there are may places to explore and activities nearby.

- Four hour Flight to Dalaman - Koycegiz is just 30km from the airport, approx 30 minutes drive

The Kitchen area has fitted cupboards and worktops, electric oven with gas & electric hob, extractor fan, large Fridge, with freezer compartment., washing machine, kettle . microwave,

There are four large bedrooms, three with double beds and wardrobes and one with two single beds and wardrobes. The two first floor bedrooms have en suite showers and wc’s, each with there own balcony.

There are two further bathrooms on the ground floor.The villa also benefits from one of the ground floor bedrooms being able to have its own living room area and bathroom that can be separated from the rest of the villa by internal door.

Satellite TV, DVD player, washing machine, Linen & Towels provided.

There is a large outdoor swimming pool, and under cover barbecue area, with patio, sunbeds and garden.

£100 deposit is required to secure booking. Full payment 8 weeks before start of holiday airport transfer to and from the villa is included.

Extra cleaning can also be arranged for approx £25

The Total rental cost is for a family of 6. Although, the villa can accomodate two additional adults in a seperate part of the villa for £100 (the flat is connected via internal locking door and has its own entrance, bedroom, living area & shower/wc)

The flat is never rented out to any other guests other than the main villa guests.

We all had a wonderful holiday, we have stayed in many places in Turkey and thought that Koycegiz was the best. The villa was superb and we will definitely be coming back.

Had a fantastic holiday, thought Koyceqiz was beautiful, enjoyed a wonderful day visiting the mud baths and turtle beach, the waterfalls were also worth a visit with Mehmet the taxi driver taking us there and back. We all thought the villa was superb, and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Very impressed with the villa and pool, couldn't have had better weather to enjoy our first visit to Turkey, Jim and Mert have been very helpful. Discover Gocek area and have thoroughly enjoyed two boat trips, visiting all 12 Islands also paragliding over OluDeniz area was fantastic. Glad we hired a car on our arrival we were able to go where we wanted and at our pace, enjoyed using the BBQ.
