This beautiful apartment is situated in one of the oldest historical buildings of Kotor in the very heart of the old town well known for its stunning views and amazing natural setting, few yards away from the church of Holy Spirit and the church of Sveti Luka. It is over 30 m² studio, on the first floor and fully and luxury renovated. with gorgeous views of the old town and fortress, 10 min walk to the local beaches and a short drive to the sandy beaches of Jaz, Blue Horizon and others. Has a very charming and romantic feel with a particular unique character. Rented for a first time in June 2009!!!!

The Coastal Montenegro / Boka Kotorska Fjord region
The coastal area and around Kotor are dominated by the spectacular mountains rising from the sea with its high cliffs and lush vegetation. It offers breathtaking views to this unique natural formation with its small secluded beaches and crystal clear waters.
Climb the fortress of old town Kotor and enjoy the amazing views of the bay and the fantastic scenery. There are plenty of water sports around such as water skiing, paragliding, sailing and surfing, etc. You can sign up for some of the daily trips that start at the Kotor marina and explore the romantic sea villages around and Dubrovnik. Visit the secluded village of Perast and enjoy the beautiful scenery overlooking the small islands with churches and the calm waters around. The old town of Budva with its night life and the island of Sveti Stefan with its lovely beaches and views are worth the visit.
Close by is the Lovcen National Park which is excellent for hiking. You can also visit Tara canyon, deepest in Europe and second deepest in the world for rafting, as well as canoeing in the Black lake. Durmitor and Zabljak offer excellent conditions for skiing during the winter months, with rental facilities of skis and equipment. The Ostrog Monastery placed against an almost vertical background is outstandingly beautiful. Skadar Lake, the largest fresh water lake in Europe is breath taking and offers amazing views.
Kotor area
The old town of Kotor is a UNESCO world heritage site and is one of the most romantic Adriatic cities with its Venetian architecture and dominated by the unique Kotor bay considered as the most southern fjord in Europe. It is the best preserved medieval town in the Adriatic, surrounded by impressive city walls built by the Republic of Venice. Walk the small winding streets and enjoy the old historical buildings with the beautiful small squares and Mediterranean restaurants. The Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, a monument of Roman culture, the 13th century Church of Saint Luke , the Prince’s Palace from the 17th century and the Napoleon’s Theatre from the 19th century are just few examples of the historical heritage of Kotor. Carnivals and Festivals are organized each year, adding additional charm to this beautiful town.
How to get there
The closest airport is Tivat airport, at 5 km away. There are scheduled direct flights of Montenegro airlines from London Gatwick to Tivat. During the summer there are direct flights of Montenegro airlines and Austrian airlines from Vienna. You can fly from many European cities via Belgrade, as there are flights Belgrade-Tivat several times a day or to Podgrorica airport at 65 km. away, where there are direct flights from London, Vienna, Budapest, Zurich and many others. Another close airport is Dubrovnik, over the border with Croatia at 1.50 min drive to Kotor, with scheduled flights of Croatia airlines, BA and from many European cities. Car or taxi rental is recommendable at the airport.
Kotor is easily reached by car from Tivat airport via Vrmac Tunnel at just 15 min, or alternatively by the historic coastal road, which offers spectacular views of the Kotor bay. There is a bus service from Tivat to Kotor via Stoliv.

Further details indoors: The studio consists of large living area with a wooden floor and the characteristic stony walls, build in wardrobe and storage space, lots of shelves, a king size bed, that converts to a sofa, stony bar with 2 high chairs, small table, 2 large Venetian windows with views to the old town and fortress with extra hard wooden covers. There is a brand new fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge, stone board and stone floor, under and over fitted cupboards, kitchen utilities, pots and pans, crockery and shelving with beautiful stony arches. The bathroom is fully renovated containing a shower with shower head, water heater, WC and washbasin.
Very well equipped with a tv, air-conditioning, iron, hair dryer, clothes dryer, towels and kitchen utilities.
Further details outdoors: The entrance to the apartment is from a small secluded street with a small court yard, steps away from the main square and all cafe bars and restaurants. No cars are allowed in the old town but there is plenty of parking space near the main and the north gate.

Property is cleaned prior the arrival of the guests. Linen and towels provided. Cleaning provided weekly at guests request. Please, do not use the bathroom towels for the beach. The studio is located on the first floor up several stony stairs, no lift needed. Prices are for the property per week/per day in Euros and include fresh linen and towels at start of stay (UK pounds amount subject to currency rates).
Conditions
A 25% non refundable deposit is requested to secure booking of the property and rest is requested 4 weeks prior to arrival. For late booking, the whole rental amount is requested prior to arrival and non refundable at cancellation. 35 € requested for final cleaning.
