Located just off museum square, the apartment is ideally positioned for viewing the architecture of the old town or just enjoying the cafes, shops, bars & restaurants. It enjoys fabulous views of the town & mountain behind & is just a short stroll from the marina. With a double aspect it is light & airy but also has full air-conditioning to cool or heat.
Up the spiral staircase, the apartment features a King size double bed & modern bespoke oak fittings & in the bathroom a contemporary, walk in, door-less glass shower. In the lounge area there is a, t.v & dvd player & a selection of DVDs, but feel free to bring your own; there is also an Italian double sofa-bed. A modern Italian glass table also features in the dining area. Fine materials & quality fittings such as granite tiles & work surfaces, bespoke oak cabinets & Miele appliances are throughout.

The Coastal Montenegro / Boka Kotorska Fjord region
The only coastal region created by by glaciation on the Adriatic, Montenegro is a small & beautiful country. It contains vast mountains with winter ski resorts, deep canyons & beautiful national parks a short drive inland & a wonderful coastline with great beaches & historical towns.
It also contains a wealth of history having been occupied & influenced by so many differing cultures over the centuries.
Kotor area
With a fascinating history, the Unesco World Heritage site of Kotor Old Town (stari grad) is an amazing experience. Situated between the dramatic Mount Lovcen & the sea it contains beautiful Venetian architecture, museums, churches & even a cathedral dating back to 1166.
The old town has car-free, granite tiled streets & squares containing numerous cafes, bars & restaraunts. Here you can sit & watch the world go by. It is used, year round, as the cultural capital of Montenegro by the local population & so has a lively night life & many festivals throughout the year.
The town is situated at the end of the bay & has some small beaches. Larger beaches can be found on the coast just a 15 minute drive away.
How to get there
You can fly from Gatwick into Dubrovnik Croatia (bordering Montenegro), with airlines such as British Airways all year round. Allow 1 to 1.5 hours for the drive along the scenic coastal road into Kotor. Flybe also land at Dubrovnik from a number of uk airports such as Exeter & Birmingham. Croatia Airlines also land at Dubrovnik from Heathrow airport. Montenegro Airlines fly from Gatwick into Tivat airport (which is just a 15 minute drive away under a mountain). Check with other airlines & airports as well as there are alternatives.
To help save money & time you can hire a car in advance by going online & searching for hire cars at the relevant airport. There are also many hire car companies at Dubrovnik airport.
If required, for an additional charge, we can also arrange transfers to & from the airport & Kotor old town. Directions to our apartment & Kotor will be provided at the time of booking. We can also arrange for our English speaking agent to meet you in the old town

Further details indoors: For your comfort, quality high thread-count linen is used in the bedroom & is changed weekly. You will also find an IPod docking station & radio next to the bed. Quality towels are supplied in the bathroom.
The kitchen features Miele ceramic hob, oven & dishwasher & Whirlpool fridge freezer. The kitchen is stocked with everything you should need including, kettle, toaster, cooking pots, utensils, crockery, glasses & the all important corkscrew. Most importantly there is also a water tank & pump installed, which helps to ensure consistency of supply to the whole of the apartment during periods of high demand.
Further details outdoors: There is not a safe, but the front door to the apartment is of a multi-bolt, high security metal construction. The windows are double glazed.

The apartment enjoys lovely views of the old town & roof-tops & is therefore up 2 flights of stairs. there is also a spiral stair - case inside & so regrettably is not suitable for the infirm or children. We request a deposit of 25% upon booking & full payment 8 weeks prior to your visit.
