This beautiful 1-bedroom apartment is part of the exclusive Kotor View development in the picturesque fishing village of Muo, a short walk (around 30 mins) from the old town of Kotor (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The apartment has been furnished to a high spec and has panoramic views over the sea (fjord), mountains and Kotor Bay. Guests have full use of the private terrace (furnished with table and chairs), large swimming pool (with sunloungers), landscaped gardens with barbeque area and outside seating area. There are a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate vicinity. The perfect base from which to explore Montenegro's natural beauty, or to simply relax and soak up the sunshine!

Bedroom has a king-sized bed, 2 bedside tables, a full-length mirror and plenty of wardrobe/storage space. Aircon/heating unit. The bedroom benefits from wonderful views and has doors opening onto a private terrace. Baby cot can be arranged if required.
Spacious open plan living room. Comfortable dining area for 4 people. Large leather chaise sofa bed (double) with coffee table. 32" flat screen TV, satellite receiver & DVD player. Free WIFI is included. Aircon/heating unit. Glass patio doors leading to private terrace.
Private terrace has a table with seats for 4 people.
Modern tiled bathroom with large shower cubicle, WC, wash basin, mirrored storage cabinet and wall-mounted heater.
Fully equipped designer kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric oven & hob, and all modern appliances, including plastic cups, cutlery and crockery for infants/children.
Washing machine, iron, ironing board, collapsible clothes drying rack and hair dryer are provided for guests' use.
Bath towels and bed linen are included & can be changed weekly for a small additional fee. Please bring beach towels. The apartment is cleaned on changeover days. More regular cleaning can be arranged with the rental manager if required.
NO SMOKING is allowed in the apartment.

Included on-site is a large shared swimming pool with a terrace and sun loungers. There is also a large communal barbeque area with outdoor dining facilities and a landscaped garden with ample space for children to play.
My local rental manager speaks excellent English. She will meet you on arrival and show you round the apartment. You will be provided with her mobile phone number and she will be available at all times during your stay to answer any questions that you may have.
A Welcome Pack containing bread, ham, tomato, pasta, water, wine, butter, cheese and fruit can be arranged for you at a cost of 25 Euros. If you have any special requests, these can be catered for as well.
I am more than happy to provide recommendations for restaurants, shops, car hire, excursions etc or any other information to help you plan your holiday.
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking.
The balance is required to be paid 6 weeks before travel.
I am happy to receive payment in either GBP or EUR, although GBP is preferred. I can accept payments by credit/debit card.
A security deposit of GBP100/EUR100 will be collected by the local rental manager on arrival and refunded on departure after inspection of the apartment by the rental manager or her representative.
A small local tourist tax is payable locally and will be collected by the rental manager on arrival. This is approximately EUR 0.80 per person per night.
The Coastal Montenegro / Boka Kotorska Fjord region
Montenegro is truly magical. It has natural beauty, lovely beaches, clear lakes, fast rivers and gorgeous mountains. In the morning you can wake up along the beautiful Adriatic coast, have lunch on the banks of Skadar Lake, and enjoy the evening walks in the Montenegrin Mountains.
Kotor is one of the most beautiful coastal towns. It is surrounded by the big mountains that hang over the Boka Kotorska (Kotor Bay). The town lies at the foot of Mt Lovcen and is one of the best preserved medieval settlements in this part of the Mediterranean.
Kotor Old Town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its perplexing narrow streets, squares, old buildings, churches, town walls, and gates is a must-see.
The Kotor Bay area has a warm and dry summer and a mild and humid winter. The warmest month is July with an average temperature of 25°C.
The Kotor / Muo area
Muo is a picturesque fishing village in the Bay of Kotor. There are number of shops, bars and restaurants in the village, with even more a few minutes drive down the road in Kotor Old Town. There are many other beautiful towns and villages to explore, all within a short drive of the apartment.

Tivat airport is the closest, only 10 minutes from the apartment through the tunnel by car.
Podgorica and Dubrovnik (Croatia) airports are both approximately 90 minutes from the apartment by car
Montenegro Airlines fly direct to Tivat airport during the summer months
Montenegro Airlines fly direct to Podgorica airport throughout the year.
Dubrovnik airport is serviced directly by many airlines from the UK, including British Airways, Croatia Airlines, Easyjet, Thomsonfly, Germanwings, Flybe, Jet2 and Monarch (charter).
Car hire is highly recommended to fully enjoy the area, although cabs/taxis are available as required.

The appartment is clean, clear, comfortable with a perfect view of Kotor Bay.
Car is highly recommended to explore all the beauties of hills and beaches of Montenegro.
It was one of our best trips in the last decade.

Apartment was clean on arrival but no change of bed linen or towels during 2 week stay. Insufficient sun loungers in pool area for number of apartments in blocks. Pool required cleaning / chemicals daily but this was done at peak times during day therefore restricting access. The shortcut described in the advert to the lakeside road - we were told we could not use it. Therefore very restricted for walking as service road was also in a very bad state. Some taxis refused to go up to the apartments because of the road. 20 minute walk to local shop 30 minute walk to Kotor town. Kotor is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat at reasonable prices.
All guests staying for more than a week have the option to request a change of linen and towels for a nominal fee. Pedestrian access to the coastal road is available via the stated shortcut. The main access road is currently being upgraded by the Kotor municipality and is expected to be completed prior to the 2013 summer season. Montenegro could be considered a little "backward" by Western standards - but that is part of its charm, together with stunning natural beauty!

beautiful appartment, wonderful place. no complaints. excellent holiday in all ways. recommned rafting in the tara canyon - really beautiful. the hostel in kotor old town is useful for organising tours at reasonable prices. spectacular view from the balcony - really special.
