It is a short ride from each of Koh Mak's three piers, and three kilometers to the “walking street” of shops and bars on the West of the island. "Perfect Thai Getaway"
What a fantastic property this is.
Have spent many trips in Thailand but this is the place I will come back to. Stayed in Garden Villa with some friends - 'the guys' but am planning to return early next year with my wife and young son.
The place has exactly what couples or young families want from a luxury villa. It's location is simply perfect - a few minutes walk from the beach and yet totally secluded and private. The scooters available make getting around this picture perfect Thai island very easy.
The two staff looked after all our needs - and add a very homely feel to the place.
I am very happy to recommend this property, it's a very special and wonderful place.

"Beautiful island and beautiful home!"
I stayed here for a few nights in November last year, before it 'officially' opened as a vacation rental, and I have only great things to say! The island is incredibly beautiful, and less full of tourists than some in Thailand. It's also small enough to be able to get a good look round and a real feel for the place - ideally through renting a small scooter, as we did! We visited numerous small beach bars (some of which also served up really tasty Thai food) as well as more upmarket bars and restaurants. There were plenty of opportunities to simply lounge around on the beaches, or in the gorgeous gardens of the house too. The house itself is a delight - stunning from the outside, and equally well appointed once you get indoors. The aircon was a really nice addition to help get through the warm nights, but to be honest during the day the light and airy design of the house meant that all you needed to do to be comfortable was fling open the doors and windows.
This house, and Koh Mak, are really beautiful and definitely worth a visit. I certainly hope I will be going back again!
