This luxury beachfront Villa is situated on the beautiful and peaceful Klong Nin beach on the west coast of Lanta Island. It is a perfect for a relaxing holiday and in five star comfort.
The property consists of two buildings, Living Room Villa and Bedroom Villa. The Living Room Villa faces the ocean, and is only 15 metres from the beach. It is a short jump (or there are some steps) from the garden wall to get onto the beach sands.
The Bedroom Villa is on 2 levels, situated directly behind the Living Room Villa and adjacent to the Klong Nin Beach Road.
The property was built in April 2008, constructed to high quality standards and in traditional Thai design.
There are a few restaurants and bars within a minutes walk. For day to day shopping needs, there are a couple of convenience shops within a 2-3 minute walk or the Klong Nin village is about a 10 minute walk.

The Living Room Villa includes a lounge sitting area, a dining area, a fully fitted kitchen, an office area, and a toilet/wash room. The facilities include Air Con, Satellite TV (64 channels), DVD/CD player, Safety Box, selection of books and DVDs, and a Desk Top computer with Wi Fi Internet access and printer/copier/scanner.
The Bedroom Villa contains 2 en-suite bedrooms, each with separate entrances (there is also an internal lockable connecting door between the two bedrooms). Both bedrooms have air con, king size beds, fitted wardrobes, and en-suite bath and shower rooms. The upstairs bedroom also includes balcony with sea view, Sony LCD TV and DVD player, refrigerator, and additional safety box. The downstairs bedroom is larger and also includes TV and DVD player..
If required there is a Cradle/Cot in the downstairs wardrobe. A second cot and high chairs are also available by prior request.

The swimming pool is 8m x 3m, with jacuzzi and underwater lighting. The tropical garden includes many different varieties of plants and flowers, including an enclosed garden area with outdoor shower, grassed area, Sala (sheltered sitting area), loungers, Parasol, table and chairs, and a small water fountain.
There is a parking area if required.
Further details
If only one bedroom is required then a 10% discount will be applied. In this case, the other bedroom will remain vacant and you will still enjoy full and exclusive use of the Living Room Villa and outdoor facilities. You can choose which bedroom you wish to take upon arrival and after having an opportunity to inspect both bedrooms.
Note, that there is a Property Manager, who will meet you upon arrival, and be available by telephone, and in person at reasonably short notice, if anything arises during your stay.
If more than 2 bedrooms are required, then please enquire for further details, as it may also be possible to rent a neighbouring Villa, with similar facilities, subject to joint availability. But please note that rental rates may not be less than twice the rental rates specified for this Villa.
Conditions
There is a minimum booking period of 1 week (2 weeks in low season). This is because there are certain costs incurred by the owner, such as the cost of getting the property ready for guests and guest management charges, which are the same regardless of length of stay, and which make it unprofitable for shorter lettings.

The weather here is generally hot all year round. It cools slightly in December and January, which is the busiest time for tourism. It is referred to as the peak season and the price of accommodation goes up accordingly.
The months of November and February through to end April are also very popular and the weather is usually very good. From May to October it sometimes rains a lot, there is not a lot of tourism, many places close down, and for those that stay accommodation is much cheaper.
Please note, sometimes during the low season (depending on wind direction) sheet netting is put up onto the beach wall to protect the property from sand blown up from the beach. This does not prevent easy access to the beach but may spoil the ocean view. If netting has been put up then, if you wish, you may request for the netting to be taken down, which will not be a problem so long as there are no strong winds blowing sand onto the property from the beach.
The Koh Lanta Island / Klong Nin Beach area
The main reason people come to Lanta for a holiday is because it is relatively peaceful, it retains its original Thai charm, and has some stunning beaches. You are unlikely to ever feel crowded out by other tourists in Lanta.
There are hundreds of restaurants and bars, many of them right on the beach
There are many beautiful islands in the area, and it is easy to join boat trip tours to see them. There are some very good dive sites nearby, and great swimming and snorkelling too.
Non-beach activities include elephant trekking or a trip to see some monkeys. Sites to visit include a National Park, Lighthouse, Waterfall, and Cave. It is worth a trip to visit the Lanta Old Town, and you can also visit a sea gypsy village.

Koh Lanta is not the easiest island to get to, which may account for its unspoilt beauty.
The nearest airport is at Krabi. There are many cheap flights (around £40 per person) from Bangkok each day. Otherwise, you can get cheap flights to Krabi airport from Kuala Lumpur. You can also get to Koh Lanta from Phuket.
The ferry from Phuket takes around 3 hours, although you will also have to take a 30 min taxi from the airport to the ferry port. There is a cheap bus from Phuket which takes around 5 hours.
The road journey from Krabi airport to the villa in Koh Lanta involves two short ferry crossings, and will take between 2 and 3 hours, depending on ferry waiting times.
A bus service is available, which, if booked, will collect from the airport and take you to the villa, and only costs about £4 per person. If not pre-booked you can take a bus into Krabi centre and take the Lanta bus from there. Or, a taxi can be hired for about £45. The fastest way is by VIP air con pick-up car which can be arranged with the owner for 2,500 baht (about £50).There is also a ferry service and a speed boat service directly from Krabi to Koh Lanta. Alternatively, car hire is available from Krabi airport (3 reputable companies).

This was our 3rd visit to Koh Lanta. The previous 2 times we have stayed at Layana resort. We chose this villa instead as Layana had changed hands and we also fancied a change. Firstly the communication with Nigel the owner was excellent throughout combined with the superb support of the local villa manager Nick. The pictures of the villa on Tripadvisor do not do it justice especially the inside. The villa is finished to a really high standard throughout especially the downstairs bathroom which an ablution paradise. The pool is also well designed with easy access, a shallow seated bit in the water for reading a book and cooling off at the same time and 4 water jets to bubble up the pool. The pool is also very well maintained on a regular basis. the fridge freezer is large, plenty of loo rolls, towels, bin bags, shampoo, tissues and mosquito repellent all supplied. The 2 bedrooms are of a good size with the upstairs offering a balcony. Aircon fitted throughout, fans in each room, DVD players and TV in each room, free WIFI and use of a computer. What we loved about the living space is that there are sliding doors on 2 sides so it has a wonderful open feeling during the day. Klong Nin beach is rather similar to long beach further north. it is about 3km long, not very busy with a scattering of restaurants and laid back beach bars. Next door is a good pizzeria and across the road is a popular Thai restaurant call Cook Kai. We did not try many more eateries on the beach. One place you must go for dinner is L Maladee which is just outside Saladan. Some of the best Thai food I have eaten over 17 years coming to Thailand. I famous restaurant on the island called Time for Lime was disappointing this time. There is a Seven Eleven 5 minutes up the road and an ATM. you can usually flag a taxi or Tuk Tuk down within 5 minutes from the back of the villa. A visit to Lanta old Town is well worth it. it is about 15 minutes by taxi and the drive takes you right through the heart of the Island. good places to eat there are Mango House for Western food or Fresh restaurant for Thai food and an amazing view. Overall we were really pleased we chose this villa. everything went smoothly and it was a real treat to spend 2 weeks in such a wonderful space. We will be returning!! |

This is an excellent Villa and represents good value for money. Klong Nin is one of the best beaches on Lanta and this Villa is right on the waterfront (with just the private pool seperating you from the sea). Local restaurants will bring your meals to the villa and there are some great places close by if you want to dine out (check our Sri Lanta on the beach or Cook Kai behind the villa). Property manager also lives close by and will visit promptly if you experience any problems. Likely we will return next January. Highly recomended. |

“Wonderful honeymoon stay”

We spent a wonderful week at the villa as part of a three week honeymoon in Thailand. The service we received from Nigel was fantastic from the first email we sent to the pick he arranged for us upon our arrival at the pier. The house was clean and organized with a great set of notes provided for all house guests along with a phone number to the property manager should anything come up.The location is in a wonderful part of Koh Lanta, with great access to restaurants, not too crowded and a good beach in front although a bit rocky. We highly recommend Kook Kai restaurant, right across the street from the villa and the Italian restaurant next door makes fantastic coffee which can be hard to come by. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom which was very spacious and had a big bathroom as well. Our favorite part was the pool and the privacy we had at the villa.
Can't wait to go back for another visit!
“Relaxed Beach Holiday”

After 1 week in this villa we were totally relaxed.
The villa offers everything you need for that. Nice Pool, you can swim with a view of the sea and sunset and this in privacy. Nice and clean rooms.
A few steps in front of the pool is the beach and left and right in about 100m distance are some beach restaurants.
The beach itself is one of the nicest we have seen, and we travel a lot...
There are 3 other villas of the same style left of the property, separated with walls. On the right side, also separated with a wall is a italian restaurant but that will not disturb you because no music and only few guests.
We like it because you can order good pizza (between the thai food) without leaving the villa.
On the other side of the street is a very good thai restaurant and a small shop for water,snacks,beer etc.
The pickup service from Krabi Airport has also worked very well and is recommended if you come from a long flight.

We were a family of 3 generations -grandparents,parents and 6 month old baby. Could not have chosen better place for a week's relaxation, The infinity pool was stunning and perfect for all ages-difficult to tear yourself away from it to walk the few steps to the sea. House beautiful and well equipped with caretaker nearby to deal with any queries. Plenty of fun restaurants to walk to plus amazing home delivery service from Thai restaurant opposite. Cheap and easy access to rest of island by taxi/ tuk tuk. Couldn't recommend more highly for any age group.
