About the home

This is a new villa (completed December 2008), privately owned by a British citizen and is part of an exclusive villa development right on Phra-Ae Beach which is considered by many visitors as their favourite beach at over 5kms long. There are strict building regulations which mean that this is a very private and low-rise villa community with an unspoiled beach.
The villa has its own swimming pool, terrace area and garden. Inside, there are two bedrooms, lounge/dining area, kitchen and bathroom.
The location is ideal for a self-catering getaway in paradise. There are a number of bars and restaurants within walking distance and a mini-mart is just a minute away.
Koh Lanta benefits from being a quiet island without the seedy bars and clubs you might find elsewhere. It is not a party destination (although weekly events at some of the beach bars still allow you some opportunity) and is ideal for relaxation.
Diving, snorkelling, sailing are all available in the area.

The South Thailand / Krabi region

Krabi is located on the west coast of Thailand on the Andaman Sea.

Krabi is one of the most relaxing places on the planet. Stunning scenery, fantastic white sandy beaches, a coastline with over 200 islands and a jungle covered interior revealing towering limestone cliffs, caves, waterfalls and exotic wildlife.

The Koh Lanta Island / Phra-Ae Beach area

Koh Lanta is situated in the Andaman Sea, off the west coast of Thailand. It is located in the state province of Krabi and is about 70kms from the main town of Krabi.

The average temperature is 27 - 33 degrees celcius or 81 - 91 degrees fahrenheit year round. From May to October is the monsoon season which occasionally brings heavy rains, but days are still hot and sunny and the rain stops and starts alternately. From November to April is the lowest humidity and the sea breeze can be cooling in the evening.

The islands population is around 20,000.

From Krabi
Koh Lanta is approximately 90mins by road/car ferry from Krabi Airport. Transfers can be booked via the roads or alternatively and during summer months, via speedboat from Krabi.
Thai Airways fly direct to Krabi from Bangkok and the flying time is about 1hour. Tiger Airways, Nok Air and Thai Air Asia also serve Krabi Airport via Bangkok or Singapore. During high season, Nova Air is making direct flights from Stockholm.

From Phuket & Koh Phi Phi
Boat transfers are available from both Phuket and Phi Phi with a bus service also available from Phuket to Krabi.

“Perfect Villa, perfect location” We loved this little Villa, perfect for our family + grandma. One minute walk from the beach, one minute from shops and restrauants. Very clean and very convenient. Response: Thanks mate - that's the first review ;)

There is a 2,000 Thai Baht (GBP40.00 approx) booking fee charged per stay to cover villa cleaning costs.

All charges are made locally in Thai Baht direct to the local (on-site) property rental agent who will oversee the booking and manage your stay. This privately owned villa is BRITISH owned but all rentals are managed by our local on-site agent who is Swedish.
