Home description
Situated close to the Black Oyster Catcher pub and restaurant on the edge of the lagoon, it is just 2 minutes away from the Knysna Quays where you can choose between seven different restaurants. Fancy a cruise, the apartment is seconds away from the departure point for cruises to the Featherbed Nature Reserve, to the Heads, or through the Heads.
The stoep (veranda) is ideal for al fresco breakfasts or lunches, and for the evening braai (barbecue) a Weber braai is supplied. Literally five metres from the waters edge you could set your rod holder and watch for a nibble as you enjoy a leisurely sun downer!

Located in the heart of the garden route, with direct access to the Knysna Lagoon, lush forests and adventure sports, Kynsna is the perfect location for an activity holiday or just relaxing.
There is a wide selection of restaurants, coffee shops and bars, along with a variety of shopping options from traditional african curios to a chic waterside mall.
With something for everyone, you can feed an Elephant at the Knysna Elephant Park, take a cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve or abseil off the famous Knysna Heads.

Further details indoors: The spacious 96 square metre apartment has a relaxed living area of lounge and dining area leading into the kitchen, and the whole area, including the entrance passage, has elegant tiled floors, ideal for waterside holidaymakers. For the bad weather days there is a large TV set, DSTV satellite decoder, and a video and DVD player.
The kitchen is equipped with tasteful wood finished kitchen units, a counter top hob, under counter oven, microwave oven, refrigerator, small dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. It is also equipped with pots and pans, casseroles, cutlery and crockery.
The master bedroom suit is equipped with a king-size bed and fitted cupboards, and a bathroom with toilet, wash basin and shower en suite.
The second and third bedrooms, are fitted with cupboards and twin beds. Both share a bathroom equipped with toilet, washbasin and shower.
Further details outdoors: The lounge area looks out over the jetties, past the yacht marina and the navigable channel down towards the heads. Depending upon the tide, there will either be water lapping the embankment half a metre from the lawn, or a stretch of sand revealed. Being on the deepwater channel, swimming is possible from the jetty on all tides.
For those who own a boat, there are two jetties at the property belonging to individual owners of two jetty clubs, and many are available for short term leases to Laguna Grove residents. Number 37 is a ground floor apartment with parking, and is situated next to the complex’s own launching slipway. Number 37's patio leads directly onto the block's private lawns.
Conditions
SERVICING The apartment is serviced prior to arrival and once a week for longer lets. If regular apartment servicing is required for making beds, emptying bins etc this can be arranged on arrival at a nominal cost. The servicing does not include washing the dishes or clothing, or ironing.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE Arrival is normally between 14:00 and 16:00. Other arrangements can be made on request. Departure is by 10:00 to allow for preparing the apartment for incoming visitors

Guestbook for 37 Laguna Grove
Our month (nearly) in SA was fantastic and we had a t’riffic time. Your place in Knysna was great –loads of space and right on the lagoon. It was also really close to the Harbour restaurants. We took our daughter out on a boat trip which she got unfeasibly excited about and we visited the Elephants at the Ellie Park.Also wandered down to heads for breakfast at the East Heads Café (highly recommended). Generally just mooched around and relaxed. We are now planning another trip to SA in October. Many thanks, Jason - London
We did have a fantastic holiday and our only regret was that we didn't stay there longer this time! We were on a fairly tight schedule which is why we didn't stay for the whole week in Knysna but we had time to sample the delights of 3 of the best restaurants ever! The apartment was ideal for a holiday with the advantage of the view and the short walk to the Waterfront. Absolutely no complaints!!
