About the home

The house is on the lagoon canals, one can fish directly from the veranda! Thesen island is the perfect place to relax with easy walking access to a private beach. Numerous attractions are close by such as Golf Courses, adventure trips, bungy jumping, absailing, excellent restaurants, pubs, Knsyna Elephant Park, Perfect beaches such as Buffels Bay, whale watching (seasonal) and night clubs.

The house is double story with three bedrooms upstairs, and two bathrooms upstairs. Downstairs has a single garage, bedroom and bathroom, kitchen, scullery, lounge and dining room with patio above the lagoon water. Underfloor heating is in all rooms. All bathrooms have heated towel rails. All bedrooms have fitted cupboards.

Bedroom 1 the main bedroom has an en suite bathroom complete with shower, bath and his and her basins. Built in cupboards. A private patio with lagoon views and lounger beds. The main bedroom boast a king sized bed.

Bedroom 2 upstairs has 2 single beds with a shared bathroom having a shower, basin and toilet.

Bedroom 3 upstairs shares the bathroom with bedroom 2. It has a double bed.

Bedroom 4 located downstairs has a double bed with a shower, toilet, and basin room adjacent.

The kitchen, lounge, and dining room are open plan.

The house is new being completed in October 2007.

Knysna is in the heart of the beautiful garden route in the Western Cape. The temperatures from Sept to May vary between 15 degrees C to 32 degrees C. During which is from May to Sept temperatures vary from about 12 degrees C to 25 degrees C. Generally Knysna enjoys lots of sunshine.

Knysna is 4 hours drive from Cape Town, or 35 minutes by domestic flight from Cape Town to George,
Alternatively fly from Johannesburg to George, flight is 1 and a half hours.
