Hus Radaz (apartment)
Home descriptionThe property is on the first floor of Hus Radaz, a quality building of style typical of those you find in the alpine region of Klosters. The apartment is very light and spacious with new solid oak floors and stripped wooden doors. The living and dining room has a stripped wooden ceiling which together with an open-log fire gives a traditional mountain ambience. The kitchen and two bathrooms with underfloor heating have been newly fitted to a high standard. These modern facilities contrast beautifully with the traditional furnishings providing comfortable and charming accommodation. Being right in the heart of Klosters Platz, you will find all amenities within easy walking distance.

Skiers, or hikers in the summer can trek over to Austria and back in a day. This region is less populated than the west of Switzerland and guests can enjoy the serene beauty in winter or summer in one of the more rustic high mountain Swiss resorts. Klosters areaOriginally a 13th century monastic retreat, or "cloister", Klosters is a peaceful resort tucked away at the end of the picturesque Prättigau valley in eastern Switzerland. Klosters-Serneus has a population of around 4,000 and as such the resort is a medium-sized Swiss alpine village. The buildings are mainly traditional in style with a number of smart hotels, restaurants and watering holes, clustered around the railway station and main Gotschna cable car. Klosters remains a smart resort and essentially a discreet place undisturbed by the mass market tour operators. The village lies around 1200 meters above sea level and can be reached from Zürich by road in under two hours or by train in a little over that. The final stage on the Rhätischebahn railway up the Prättigau valley is a delight in itself. Its neighbour Davos is the largest mountain holiday resort in the Alps and with the fast tunnel connection to the Engadine valley, Klosters has magnificent opportunities for families seeking active holidays. How to get thereThe best ways to reach Klosters are by air followed by train or car hire, or by self-drive. The main flight operators from the UK to Zürich are Swiss and BA. EasyJet also flies into Zürich from Luton. An alternative route is to fly from Stansted to Friedrichshafen in Germany with Ryanair. Both airports are under two hours by road from Klosters. The resort can also be reached by train from Zürich. Car hire is available at both Zürich and Friedrichshafen.
