About the home

The Apartment is situated in Klosters Platz, under 2 hours drive from Zurich Main Airport. We are located 400 meters from the Town Centre of Klosters, and the lift is 6 minutes walk from the door. There is also a Bus which runs regularly 50 meters from the house.

The 2 bedroom (3 1/2 room) property offers generous accommodation for 4 to 6 people with spectacular views to the Silvretta Glacier. The apartment is on the Top Floor of the Chalet and has the advantage of being light and airy with a recent renovation.

The Swiss Alps / Graubunden/Alps region

The Davos-Klosters region is an eldorado for skiing, carving and snowboard fans from all over the world. The most modern transport systems gives access to 6 extensive winter sports areas with a total of over 300 km (194 miles) of slopes. For visitors with a valid guest card there is free travel on the Rhaetian Railway between Davos-Klosters (2nd classe) as well as on the local buses in both resorts.

The Klosters area

The hiking area of the Davos-Klosters holiday region and the Prättigau, with more than 700 km (437.5 miles) of hiking trails, invites you to relax in magnificent mountain freshness and enjoy nature’s marvellous spectacle anew every day. Klosters is particularly attractive for bikers. There are over 230 km (93.75 miles) of separate routes of varying degrees of difficulty in the countryside of Klosters-Davos and Prättigau. And if that is not enough, there are other challenges in the Prättigau, or in the Davos area. The Swiss Bike Masters over 120 km (75 miles) is one of the toughest bike races in the world. We recommended that vacation sportspersons watch rather than participate.

The Davos-Klosters "Active Summer guest programme" is aimed at families and all those who prefer to spend their holidays actively. Sports, games and fun for young and old are on the menu.

Various hotels pamper holiday guests in their wellness centres. A new heated family open-air swimming pool with a view over the magnificent scenery of the Silvretta massif, 12 clay tennis courts, the new 9 Hole Golf course from Klosters uniquely nestled in the magnificent alpine landscape, six 18-hole golf courses within a radius of a 60-minute car drive, a multi-sport sports centre for various types of ball sports and athletics round off the summer attractions.

“This apartment is very well appointed with stunning views” This apartment is set in the heart of the beautiful village of Klosters and has a tremendous view of the mountains from the balcony. There is plenty of space for a family of 4 with the addition of English TV, DVDs, and a games console for those days when the weather isn't quite perfect! The kitchen is very well equipped, there is a barbeque outside, and the whole apartment was spotless on our arrival. All amenities in the village are within walking distance which includes 2 supermarkets, restaurants, a fantastic swimming pool, train station and cable cars and it is perfectly possible to stay here a fortnight without the need of a car. The building is very quiet and if you do need to park a vehicle there is a secure underground car park. However, you do need to be prepared to carry all luggage and shopping up several flights of stairs as the building has no lift.
