Klosters Studio is located in Klosters Selfranga, 5 minutes away from the village centre and the train station. It is superbly connected via local transportation with the ski lifts but also walking distance from the Selfranga ski slopes and Golf Course. The Studio has been recently renovated to the highest European standards: it sports state of the art eat-in kitchen, shower room and separated toilette with Bisazza mosaic tiles, wood floors throughout and solid wood furniture and finishings. Kitchen equipment, bedding and toweling are supplied. It is situated on the 3rd and top floor of a smart chalet and enjoys stunning views over Klosters and the Silvretta valley and glacier. The ski room, boot room and washer and dryer are located on the ground floor. It can be rented on a seasonal, monthly, weekly or even daily basis. It is an ideal accommodation for singles, couples or young families, or even as a back up for visiting friends or family. We regret that pets are not allowed. The studio is strictly smoke free.

Klosters is nested in the Graubünden region of Switzerland. It is conveniently connected to Zürich by train and the E43 motorway to Landquart. Klosters is a typical mountain village with its own train station, pharmacy, post office, 2 supermarkets and a high choice of sport shops and ski rental facilities. Given its popularity amongst Britons and Dutch, English has become the second local language. Most of the staff and medical professionals (including the local doctors and dentist) speak English. Davos, the highest city in Europe that hosts the notorious World Economic Forum, is only 15 minutes away. Whereas St. Moritz and the Engadin region is 40 minutes away through the Vereina tunnel.

Because of the diverse range of activities both for the summer and the winter season, Klosters has been traditionally chosen by both families and singles and falls inevitably in the magazine pages because of its highly ranked guests like the great Britain Heir to the throne, Prince Charles of Wales.

Child care facilities are easily available and so are the excellent Ski Schools and Mountain Guiding Centres. The winter activities are: skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, winter walking, horse-drawn sled riding, skating, toboggaing and snow-shoe trekking – as well as a wide range of après-ski activities and nightlife venues in Klosters and Davos.

In the summer Klosters and surroundings are popular for long walking, trekking, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, para-gliding, tennis and swimming. For the youngest, both summer and winter offer numerous activities. The most favourite ones are skiing (the Snow Garden takes children as young as 3), sledging, skating, horse riding, swimming. Madrisa Land, the adventure park recently open on the Madrisa mountain and the Sport Zentrum with its superb swimming pools and playgrounds are some of the preferred family venues. For mountain lovers and hikers, there are several mountain stübe that offer overnight accommodation both during the winter high season and throughout the summer. The beautiful glacier of Vereina and its unique paths are also connected to the village by a bus shuttle service, only available in the summer.

Klosters Platz

Klosters is one of the most renowned holiday destinations in the world, and together with Davos, boasts the most comprehensive holiday, sports and leisure facilities in the mountains. The contrast between the urban Davos and the idyllic Klosters could not be more enticing: Davos, the highest town in Europe, popular for the diversity of sports, leisure and cultural facilities and its rejuvenating climate, the World Economic Forum and the celebrated freestyle events on the Jakobshorn. And Klosters with its chic charm, where discreet luxury and understatement also draws royal guests. Both destinations have something in common: the uncontaminated nature of the mountain Alps. Your holiday days can be as rich in experiences and as rejuvenating as you wish in this fabulous natural settings.
