A real home from home says everyone who has stayed! so different from those soulless rental houses. If you want a fantastic vacation - congratulations - you found us!
Our villa is a 5 bedroom 4.5 Bathroom (3 en-suites) home with two lounges, two dining areas and a games room. It is carpeted or tiled throughout. Our air-conditioned home also has ceiling fans and TVs in all rooms. A well equipped kitchen allows you to self cater if you wish and have provided many practical and fun items to make your stay more fun. Cumbrian Lakes is 4 miles from the US192, 8 miles from the Disney complex and less than 5 miles from two SuperCentre Wal-Marts. Close enough to all the buzz but a very private community to relax away from the action.

Kissimmee / Cumbrian Lakes area
In the short time since Cumbrian Lakes was built it has gained a very good reputation for the quality of homes and the wonderful holiday so many people have had here.
Cumbrian Lakes is a gated community four miles from US 192 near Mile Marker 11. It is located on Poinciana Blvd. and is only ten minutes from the main Disney attractions and so it both close enough for maximum enjoyment of the parks and entertainment yet far enough away to give you a restful holiday in private surroundings.
Cumbrian Lakes has four lakes together with walking paths, two football goals are provided for the energetic next to a play area for children. It is approximately one mile around from the gate, itself a nice early morning stroll.
It is quite common to see a variety of wildlife including herons and raccoons. around which only adds to the serene and restful atmosphere of Cumbrian Lakes.
How to get there
Flight to Sanford (75 minutes) Orlando International (20 minutes) Precise instructions to villa will be provided. Scheduled flights by Virgin Atlantic and British Airways as well as many other airlines. I am a regular traveller and always use Dollar and have never had a problem with them.

Further details indoors: Our home has a very spacious open-plan casual lounge Area. The highlight is a 52 inch High Definition Widescreen TV with a Brighthouse Cable system which has hundreds of channels, including English Football (when played) and an assortment of High Definition Channels, and a Nintendo Wii.
The layout of bedrooms is:
1. Super King master with dressing area separate bath and walk in shower and patio door out to balcony/sundeck- TV and fan
2. King with en suite 30 inch TV walkin cupboard and fan 3. Queen with en suite with patio door out to pool area 30 inch TV walkin cupboard and fan
4 two single beds with Ninendo Wii and new 26inch flat screen TV11 and
5 two single beds wuith Nintendo Gamecube. These bedrooms share a bathroom. There are fans and televisions in all bedrooms Our lounge has a 52" High Definition Widescreen TV with hundreds of channels including English football (when played).
Games Room which includes a full size 1 INCH SLATE 8ft Pool Table. We also have a Personal Computer and printer with wireless connectivity for your use throughout the house so you can surf(!) by the pool on the internet!
For days relaxing away from the parks there is a large selection of books, DVDs, Videos and Games for your home from home.
One of the many extra benefits of renting our executive home is the wide variety of kitchen utensils, implements and equipment which allows you to prepare meals in our well fitted kitchen to cut down on the ever increasing costs of eating out.
To assist with this we have:
A very well equipped kitchen with almost every utensil, pot, pan and baking dish you may need A NEW side-by-side Fridge/Freezer with Water and Ice vending units, Cooker with Hood, Dishwasher, Microwave, Liquidizer, Coffeemaker, Electric Kettle A second and more informal open plan dining area with eight chairs and a high chair.
A Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer are also provided at the rear of the games room.
The breakfast bar area with bar stools at the back of the lounge provides another flexible seating and eating area. The main access to the Pool and Lanai is from the Patio door as show in the picture on the right. all doors leading to the pool are secured and alarmed for safety.
Games Room which includes a brand new American pool Table.
We also have a Personal Computer and printer with wireless connectivity for your use throughout the house so you can surf(!) by the pool on the internet! On the Practical side a cot, highchair, stairgate and pushchairs (strollers) are all available for your use.
On the fun side and for the older child between 8-90 there is a pool table, foosball, air hockey, many pool toys, nintendo wII and gamecube and an assortment of board games. More than enough to keep children of all ages occupied during any downtime!
For those that want to keep in touch with friends and family (who are not lucky enough to be with you!) we have a PC Workstation with 19 inch flat screen and colour Printer provided for your use.
A secure wireless network also operates throughout the house and pool area and a separate ethernet cable for use with your own laptop is provided.
This is a wonderful home- not a souless rental house!
Further details outdoors: A very private wonderful 32 foot swimming pool is the centre piece of an extended lanai which also benefits from a soothing Jacuzzi with one-touch timer control. Just turn on, get in, enjoy and reeeelax!
Pool Chairs and Recliners are provided for your relaxation together with two separate outside eating areas for your enjoyment.
The Lanai area is well lit to enable you to sit outside in the warm Florida evenings to enjoy that long cocktail.
A propane gas barbeque in its own discrete area and large enough for all your eating requirements is also provided.
An assortment of Pool Toys for the enjoyment of our young and not so young guests.
An outside shower unit is also provided.
There is a small extra cost for pool heating which is particuarly recommended between September and April.

This was the fourth time we’ve rented a vacation home in Orlando (Kissimmee), Florida and I can honestly say this was the best of the four houses, by far. It is very spacious and has all the amenities you can think of, including entertainment features to allow for pleasant, relaxing days when not visiting the Theme Parks. The décor is well appointed and the furniture comfortable. It is set up to comfortably sleep 10 adults. This will definitely be our first choice the next time we vacation in the Orlando area.

Great villa - plenty of space and amenities. Jacuzzi excellent and games room is a boon for kids- like home from home. We all had a great time and didn't want to go home - would recommend to everyone. Hope to be back soon.
