About the home

This beautifully furnished luxurious 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom pool home is ideal for the guests who are looking for that perfect Disney vacation. Luxuriously decorated and furnished throughout by an interior designer, our home will sleep 12 people in comfort and style and is maintained immaculately clean by our local management team. Air-conditioned and heated throughout with free wireless internet and free International calls.

Ground Floor

Pool & Spa

The luxurious 40' x 30' pool deck offers pleasant conservation woodland views to the rear and is the perfect place to sunbathe and relax in the Florida sunshine.

The pool area is provided with 2 x tables, 8 x chairs and 6 x sun-loungers for your enjoyment and comfort. The pool can be heated for an additional daily charge (recommended from October to April) but for those really hot days of summer, you can keep cool as you sip iced drinks in the spa or by the pool.

For the ultimate alfresco dining experience, you can rent a gas BBQ with gas & utensils for $50 per week. A pool safety fence is also provided to ensure toddler safety by the poolside.

A lanai (porch) measuring 40 x10 feet offers a welcome shade area for those who do not want to spend all their time under the sun. All in all the back of the house has a 1600 sq ft area that offers all the amenities to swim, play and relax. The complete area is screened for your protection against the Florida insects. Whatever your choice you won't be disappointed.

Living Room

As you first enter the luxurious villa, you first see the spacious contemporary styled living room with 2 comfortable sofas with the dining area located to the rear of the room.

Dining Area

The formal dining area is located adjacent to the living room and has a large table with seating for at least 8 diners and is beautifully set out for those special dining occasions.

Family Room

The spacious contemporary styled family room is comfortably furnished to allow our guests to relax watching TV or a film on the TV with DVD.

Kitchen

The large open plan kitchen complete has all mod cons to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. Amenities include full size cooker, fridge/freezer with filtered water & ice dispenser, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, crockery, cutlery and a toaster. All that's needed is the food and drink!! The adjacent breakfast nook set next to patio doors looking out onto the lanai and pool area and provides seating for 4 with additional seating on bar stools for 2 at the breakfast bar.

Laundry Room

The laundry room provides a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron for your convenience - leave space in your luggage for all those cheap designer clothes you are likely to purchase! You will also find the 2 infant strollers.

Master Bedroom 1 - Ground Floor

This beautifully furnished bedroom features a king sized bed and walk-in wardrobe. Additional features include a flat screen LCD Cable TV and alarm clock radio. The ensuite bathroom features a large corner bath, walk-in shower, sink, WC and hairdryer. A cot (crib) can also be provided in this room if required.

Games Room

The converted garage has been stylishly themed and includes a Pool Table, Air Hockey, Table Foosball, & Darts.


First Floor

Master Bedroom 2

This wonderful contemporary styled room is furnished with a king sized bed with matching furnishings and provides a large walk-in closet and ample drawer space. This room also features a flat screen Cable TV. The enclosed en-suite bathroom has a large bath with shower over, WC and hairdryer.

Master Bedroom 3

This bedroom features a Queen size bed with en suite bathroom and a wardrobe. Additional features include a LCD Cable TV and hairdryer

Master Bedroom 4

This bedroom features a Queen size bed with en suite bathroom and a wardrobe. Additional features include a LCD Cable TV and hairdryer.

Bedroom 5

This Safari themed bedroom features twin beds and built-in wardrobes. Additional features include a Cable TV. The beds in this room can be can have a Disney theme if requested at the time of booking.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

Our vacation villa is situated in Emerald Island Resort, Kissimmee, which is 2 miles south west of Disney, Orlando, 1 mile from U.S. 192 and approximately 2 miles from Interstate Highway 4. This is one of the closest subdivisions that you can get to Disney and stay in a house. Why stay 20 miles away whern you can get this luxury as near as this.

The Kissimmee / Emerald Isle Kissimmee area

It takes about 10 minutes to get to the major theme parks Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, MGM Studios and the water parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach that are all within the 47 square mile Disney property.

Sea World is only 14 miles and takes about 20 minutes, Universal Studios which is 18 miles away takes about 25 minutes.

There are more than 30 golf courses in the area including the 5 within Disney. There are numerous restaurants in the area. You will be spoiled for choice if you like shopping as there are numerous shopping malls within a very short drive. The brand new Mall at Millenia has all of the latest designer names. Renowned beaches like Cocoa and Daytona are a 75 mile drive.

Directions to Emerald Island Resort.

From Orlando International Airport, the villa is easy to find and only 30 minutes drive.

Car Rental Pick Up.

The major car rental companies are situated very conveniently in both Terminal A and B car parks. These are Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, L and M Car Rental and National. There are many more rental companies off site.


Exiting the airport:

It does not matter whether you exit the airport to the North or to the South, the journey time is about the same. Terminal A car park and car hire pick up is situated to the north of the airport building and favours going towards the north. Terminal B car park and car hire pick up is situated to the south and favours going south.

Exit the airport on Airport Boulevard and follow the signs for US 528 West, also known as the Beeline Expressway. Continue on US 528 West towards Interstate 4 for 10 miles.

Exit US 528 onto Intersate 4 heading west towards Tampa. Continue on Interstate 4 west for 7 1/2 miles past Sea World and Disney. Take Exit 64 onto US 192 west also known as West Irlo Bronson Highway.

After approximately 4 miles look for the McDonalds and Denny’s Restaurants on your right. Just after McDonalds turn left at the 5th set of traffic lights after leaving Intersate 4 into Formosa Gardens Boulevard between markers 5 & 4. The Red Lobster Restaurant will be on your left.

When you reach the first junction turn right at Funie Steed Road, go along this road for ¼ of a mile passed Oak Island Harbor and on the left you will see the entrance to Emerald Island Resort. Turn right at the traffic circle just past the gatehouse into Secret Key Cove and the first right into La Isla Drive. The house is 8611 about 500 yards on the right hand side.

“"This home was amazing, all we could have asked for."” As a party of 7 it was really nice to find a home that could accommodate us easily and more importantly plenty of beds around the pool and places to sit. The home was really easy to find, well equipped and really clean. A great place to stay in our opinion and great for multiple families. If we have a group as large as this again we will definately be booking again. Many thanks also to the owner who was a great communicator.

I would like to say our stay at the villa in Emerald Isle was a pleasure. It is sometimes scary to rent a place from strangers but Paul the owner was terrific and the listing description was as good if not better then what we were expecting. The Villa was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and close to all amentities. Emerald Isle itself is a well maintained gaited community that we all felt very safe at. I would recommend this villa to anyone visiting the Orlando area. I don't think you will be disappointed but pleasantly surprised at how nice this place is. Paul, Where do I start? The house was fantastic, roomy and clean. My family loved it! It is very close to the theme parks which made a big difference when you were tired. This was a very nice home for our large party to stay in. Private pool was great for all when we were not visiting the parks (which are very close by) The jacuzzi got very hot with the heat and felt great on tired muscles. There were plenty of towels (bath and beach) provided - very helpful. Great patio with plenty of outdoor seating. The home's layout gave privacy to all, especially with 5 1/2 baths. When everyone went to their own space, it felt as though you had the place to yourself. Would very likely recommend this property to friends. Linda Reginelli, New Jersey

We were looking for a suitable venue for our company's Business Planning Meeting (and for a mini break as well!).Paul's villa proved to be ideal on both counts; the 4 en suite master bedrooms were perfect for our team, and the villa's internet facilities were invaluable. Paul, just a quick e-mail to let you know that we absolutely loved your home, great house, great location. We loved everything about it. The people at Emerald Island were very friendly and the facilities were everything you needed for a great holiday.
We saw gators sunbathing on the other side of the river and had hoards of buzzards investigating something dead in the river, the kids were facinated by them. The racoons are clever as well, they've obviously worked out how to open the lids of the wheely bins so that they can have a good search through the bags for food. Having said that they didn't make any real mess.
Weather, if anything, was a bit too hot, 95 most days but with the humidity felt more like 100. The first day we noticed the temperature on the display at walgreens was showing 113 degrees. Made it a bit tiring around the theme parks, but we all coped with it. The pool was a blessing and was used every morning and evening.
We had a couple of thunder storms, but late in the evening. Don't know what was in the woods out back, but they went berserk during one of the storms. We've never heard anything like it and it went on right through the night. The nearest we came to for a description of the noise was "an alien invasion" it was a shrill squelling sound.
Glad we found you on the internet and if we go again we will definitely come to you first.
