About the home

Our new 3 bed 2 bath condo is at Club Cortile Resort, a brand new luxury gated resort with a 4,000 sq ft clubhouse, community pool with jacuzzi, tennis court, fitness centre, movie theatre, internet room and kids playground. Perfect location just 4 miles from Disney and in a quiet new road set back from the 192 and all the amenities.

Club Cortile Resort is a brand new gated community of 222 homesites comprising 106 townhomes and 116 condos on 16 acres of land nestled just off US192 and to the north side of Seven Dwarfs Lane a new, quiet and attractive road.

The open plan design creates a spacious tastefully furnished living area in which to read, watch TV or a DVD or simply relax and leads out through patio doors onto a screened porch with table and chairs overlooking a quiet wooded area.

The comfortable sofa converts into a third double bed. Adjacent to the living area is a separate dining area for family meals. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances including cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and waste disposal unit. All crockery, cutlery, glassware and pots and pans are provided.

There is also a large closet for storage behind which is a utility area with washer and dryer. The luxurious heated resort pool with it’s generous sun deck and seats/sun beds is situated at the rear of the clubhouse with the children’s play area on one side and tennis and basketball courts on the other.

Inside the clubhouse is the fitness room (available 24x7), wi-fi room and mini theater which shows a range of films for children.

Our condo is beautifully furnished, fully appointed right down to the hair dryers and iron & ironing board! It is fully furnished in a quiet section of the complex on the upper floor and has a light and airy feel about it due to having plenty of windows and a netted balcony area, to avoid the insects.

General - 2 cable TV's, DVD player, all towels and linen, alarm-clocks, telephone, ceiling-fans, air conditioning, hair-dryers, iron & ironing board. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Bedrooms -
Bedroom 1 with king bed (bigger than a UK king bed), vanity/dressing area and en suite. TV and phone. Plenty of storage drawers.
Bedroom 2 with double bed and double wardrobe and drawers.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds and double wardrobe and drawers.
All windows in the rooms have blinds.

Bathrooms -
En suite bathroom to master bedroom has a dressing area and vanity unit with large mirror. Bathroom off the vanity area has a bath with overhead shower and WC.
Family bathroom with bath/overhead shower, vanity area, linen, towel closet and WC.

Kitchen -
Large kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cupboards and drawers. Cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer with icemaker. Bistro table and 2 chairs. Blender, clothes dryer, washing machine, iron & board, dish washer, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, cooking utensils.

Utility Cupboard -
This utility area is like a big cupboard which has a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Living Rooms -
Living room has 2 sofas, 1 of which is a sofabed which sleeps 2 people. There is a coffee table, 2 side tables with lamps and dining table which seats 6 people. TV and DVD player. Phone which has free local calls to anywhere in the USA. It can receive incoming calls from anywhere. Patio doors lead out on to the lania.

Towels -
All linen and towels are supplied. Please feel free to do any washing you require. Cleaning, linen and towels are done once the condo is vacated.

Further details outdoors:
The calm and attractive ambience of Club Cortile will add a feeling of wellbeing to your holiday. The first drive in is via the large coded electric gates - to the large and luxurious clubhouse with it's Mediterranean roof tiles. It has a fitness centre, comfortable sofas to relax in the seating area, internet room, movie theatre, tennis court and through to the pool area overlooking a scenic lake, with many wildlife.

The pool area is well maintained with a jacuzzi, has loungers to rest on, a drinks machine, a shaded and tabled area to sit at and a great view over the lake.

The new tennis court and children's play area are off from the clubhouse also and like with the pool are accessed only by security code entry, for safe use only by residents.

Our condo is well positioned in a quiet section of the complex on the upper floor and is bright with many windows and fully equipped as our second home.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

The Sunshine State, as it is sometimes known, is America's most popular holiday destination thanks to its superb weather and the man-made attractions that have turned some areas into giant playgrounds for the young at heart. In addition the Florida coastline is blessed with mile upon mile of fantastic beaches that attract sun-seekers from all over the United States and beyond.

The subtropical climate ensures that temperatures are mild almost all year round with the summer months sometimes hitting the 90’s and beyond. Florida holidays in Orlando give you the huge Disney World theme park, which provides thrills and rides for children and big kids alike.

The general theme of Florida holidays is that much of your time will be spent outdoors. If you enjoy stretching out on the beach then head for the Florida Keys. For a more energetic Florida holiday there is a huge range of exciting and interesting attractions all over the state of Florida. The Kennedy Space Centre on Florida's east coast offers visitors the opportunity to examine the history of space flight and find out what the future holds for mankind's exploration of space.

The Everglades National Park injects a bit of great outdoors into your Florida holiday, with the prospect of seeing some of the indigenous wildlife of Florida. From alligators to pelicans, the wildlife is diverse and there's also the chance to take an airboat ride across the marshlands. A big attraction of Florida holidays, the theme parks such as Disney World are perfect to entertain the kids for days, and there is more than enough for adults to do as well.

The Kissimmee area

There are 2 international airports, Orlando International Airport and Sanford Airport. Both are approximately 20 mins drive. I would recommend car hire. You can hire the car to be picked up from the airport on your arrival. Most travel companies offer you car hire along with your flight. You also have the added bonus off returning the car back to the airport on your departure. If you choose not to have a car, there are many shuttle buses which will take you straight into Disney.

Distances
Disney World itself is only a short drive, 10 minutes. The Club Cortile Complex is right next to the US 192 and this road takes straight in to Disney. Old Town Disney is on the US 192 which is a few minutes drive. You can walk to Old Town if you wish. Universal Studios & International Drive are about 20 minute drive. Florida Shopping Mall also is about 20 minutes drive and the Prime Shopping outlet is about the same distance.

Further details
On the US 192 there are many restaurants: steak houses, seafood, fast food and chinese. If you are a seafood lover we highly recommend Joe's Crab Shack. There are plenty of breakfast buffet restaurants (all you can eat for around $2.99).
2 mins away is the famous Walmart supermarket (which in the UK is part of Asda but much cheaper!). They sell everthing and are open 24 hours! On the corner of our road which is called Seven Dwarf Lane there is a waffle house which is open from early morning to late at night.
In Disney World there is an area called Downtown Disney, where you can shop, eat, drink, catch a film in the huge cinema or go on to Pleasure Island and dance the night away as there are many clubs and pubs but this area is strictly of over 21's. You can walk through it during the day with children but the venues are not open until the evening.

Coast/Beach
There a few beaches which are around 1 to 2 hour's drive. Daytona Beach, Coco Beach and Tampa Bay to name but a few.

Golf
There are many nearby golf courses for you to choose from. All within a short distance.
