About the home

A luxurious, spacious villa with private pool, situated just 10 - 15 minutes from Disney World, and convenient for Sea World, Universal Studios etc, with plenty of features and amenities to make your holiday comfortable and relaxing as well as lots of fun! Plenty of personal space, a screened 23' heated private (not overlooked) swimming pool (heating optional), a well equipped kitchen, HD cable TV, PlayStation 2's to entertain the kids, and fast, free wireless internet to keep you in touch with family and friends. My villa is located 1 minute drive away from a 24 hour Wal-Mart Supercentre, and just as close to the US192 highway for dining and other fun activities.

My villa has been fitted with top quality furniture (because I like to stay there too!), and is maintained to high standards. The kitchen is fully equipped, with everything you need to rustle up a feast, if you're not in the mood to eat out. There's a selection of DVDs and Playstation2 games to keep the kids entertained, and some board games for family fun. HD digital cable TV with hundreds of channels is great for an easy, relaxing day or night in. Free high speed wireless internet will keep you in touch with friends and family at home. Cots, high chair, play-pen/Pack&Play also available for hire.

The south facing pool is screened (to keep out the bugs), and completely private - not overlooked at all. The pool heating makes it pleasant to take a dip at any time of year, and there's a table with sun umbrella and enough chairs/loungers around the pool for everyone (not all villas have enough!). The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, with no main roads nearby, so you won't be disturbed by continuous heavy traffic passing by. Ask about our great value gas BBQ grill rental - it's great for those warm, relaxing evenings by the pool!

Conditions

Minimum stay 4 nights. Shorter stays can be taken, with a small surcharge. Pool heating minimum 4 days.
A deposit of $200 per week (or part thereof) is required to confirm your booking. Dates can NOT be guaranteed without this. Final balance is due at least 8 weeks before your arrival at the property.
A $275 security deposit is taken at the time of paying the final balance, and subject to a successful post-departure inspection, this will be returned to you within 30 days of your departure.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

Say "Orlando" and most people will follow it with "Disney World" but there's so much more to see and do...

As far as theme parks go, Central Florida has them all! Walt Disney World (including The Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, MGM Studios and more), Sea World, Universal Studios and many others are enough to keep kids (and adults) of all ages happy and entertained.

Just one park holds enough to keep the whole family busy from early morning right through till nightfall when many parks have a laser, firework and light show spectacular. "Fantasmic" at Disney's MGM Studio's is one of the best - absolutely unmissable and absolutely unlike anything you've ever seen before.

Other parks such as Sea World offer a slightly more relaxed and informative angle on the theme park scene, but there's still lots to keep all ages entertained. Don't miss out on a chance to feed dolphins - definitely a highlight!

When you're not in the theme park mood, Kissimmee and the surrounding area offer much more to do - shopping malls, the Old Town for nostalgic fun, and plenty of souvenir shopping.

Venture away from Kissimmee slightly and a whole new area opens up, that can be missed completely by people preoccupied with Mickey Mouse. Downtown Orlando is a welcome change, Winter Park is well worth a visit for a quiet, relaxing stroll along cobblestone streets, art galleries and boutiques. See wild manatees at Blue Spring State Park, or visit the expansive Ocala National Forest, a beautiful, scenic contrast to the concrete and plastic jungles.

The Kissimmee / Indian Point area

Indian Point is a quiet, safe subdivision of single story family homes. Close to all the parks, and just a 60 second drive to Wal-Mart (ideal for literally ALL of your shopping needs), which is located on the US 192, the main strip for diners, restaurants (TGI Fridays, Macaroni Grill, The Olive Garden to name but a few), bars, flea markets and strangely, some incredible Crazy Golf courses.

“Very comfortable home in excellent location.” My family of 3 and my in-laws stayed here in February, 2011 and we enjoyed our stay very much. The home is spacious enough that no one felt crowded and it was comfortable for everyone to sit around in the evenings and watch TV together. The home is very convenient to all of the locations we wanted to visit and my son LOVED the heated pool. We took walks around the neighborhood and my son enjoyed playing at the community playground. I liked being able to make our meals at the house and several grocery stores were close by to do the shopping. We enjoyed eating dinner together every night in the eat-in kitchen area, where my son also had to do his schoolwork he brought with him. The dishwasher died on the 2nd day of our stay and was not replaced until after we left, but except for that minor inconvenience, it was very nice. Also, I liked being able to park the car in the garage overnight. It definitely felt like HOME AWAY FROM HOME - very comfortable and safe for everyone.

We visited all the theme parks and we all loved Universals Islands of adventure the most although for me wet and wild was a close second! We had a fab time using Martin's villa. The villa has all of the creature comforts that you would expect and like, the beds were very comfy, laundry facilities were great and the villa was very clean and tidy. The saucepans could have been a little bigger based on 6 people sharing, but if your planning on eating out loads then this sort of thing won't affect you, we tended to cook in a lot and take the time to chill out with a beer after the kids had gone to bed! Location wise your not far from anywhere, disney, cocoa beach, celebration, discovery cove and all of the shopping malls, the furthest venue was cocoa beach and that was only 60mins away so not far. Walmart is right on your doorstep and again offers everything that you might need and more! If we were to come back to disney then i would have no hesitation in booking the villa again."
