This condo is of top quality. Compare staying here with staying in a Disney Hotel and you will be astonished. Half the price of a 'moderate' Disney Resort but twice as much space as a 'Deluxe' Resort. Not only will you be saving money but you will also have the benefit of two bathrooms and three bedrooms per condo rather than the one you will get in Disney. You also have the benefit of leaving the Disney 'Estate' every day, trust me you will be glad you did! Great though Disney is it does you good to get a break. If you are worried that you might be missing out we recommend that for the ideal holiday you book for a week or two here and then with just a small part of the money you have saved book yourselves into the best Disney Hotel you can afford for one last night 'blowout' with the full character breakfast etc. as a special treat and a surprise for the children.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area
What can we say? This is the number one holiday destination in the entire world, and no wonder! There is something for everyone here. Kids and adults alike will love everything that Disney has to offer. The attention to detail, the cleanliness, the brilliance of the rides. Come and be entertained, educated, thrilled, whatever you want to do you can do it best here in Orlando.
As well as Disney of course there are the Universal Studio parks, Sea World (my favourite), many water parks, Busch Gardens etc. etc. The list is endless.
Play Golf? Spoilt for choice, there are perhaps as many as 20 courses within a 15 minute drive of this condo, including the famous Faldo Gold Academy if you fancy brushing up on some of your skills.
Remember the space race, the first man on the moon? Visit the launch pads, see the massive Saturn V rocket, ride the Shuttle Simulator, touch a piece of moon rock brought back by the early explorers. Or maybe you fancy wrestling the alligators? Visit Gatorland and Sea World for an unforgettable day out.
The number of World Class attractions in this area, suitable for children and adults alike, make this the ideal location for an unforgettable holiday; you will want to come back again and again. Oh, and did we mention the great value shopping....?
Kissimmee / Cane Island area
Kissimmee (especially the old town) has some character of its own. I suggest you allow some time to explore the area. You are only yards from the '192', a typical US highway that cuts through the suburbs. On both sides you will see dozens of places to eat as well as chemists (drug stores), supermarkets, souvenir shops, banks etc.
Disney Magic Kingdom, Animal World, MGM Studios, EPCOT, Universal Studios, all the water parks including Wet & Wild, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, Cape Kennedy, Gulf Coast, Bush Gardens, Sea World, the list is endless
How to get there
Fly into either Orlando International or Sandford airports, either is only a short drive away. Spoilt for choice as to which airline to use from most places in the world. I suggest you go to expedia.co.uk and seek out the cheapest option but we regularly fly with Virgin direct from Manchester (UK) for £300 or less - dependent on season of course.
As for car hire I strongly recommend ALAMO as they are in the airport and competitive BUT here is the trick. Book the cheapest smallest car they offer. When you arrive they will seek to sell you an upgrade. Say no. When you get to the car park you will be told to simply take whichever car suits you!! This has worked several times for us over the past year. I guess if it no longer works you can then pop back into the airport and buy that upgrade if you really need it.
Don't want to drive? No problem we can arrange for you to be met at the airport and taken directly to the condo. You could be in the pool 30 minutes after touchdown!
Finding the place? It is easy to find but in any case I will send you detailed instructions as to how to find the condo, also how to get from there to the various parks etc. This is one of the best locations possible to give you easy access to all the resorts. There is even a free bus to Disney that runs past the end of the road if you do not wish to hire a car or to drive every day.
NB you can get a bird's eye view if you go to Google Earth and type in Scott Blvd, Kissimmee. This development is clearly visible on the right just south of the '192'. The building work was finished in the summer of '07 so the site has now been landscaped.

Further details indoors: This condo comes fully equipped with fresh linen and towels. Less than 100 yards from shops and a series of restaurants so if you do not feel like self-catering there is no problem. Each condo has the benefit of a balcony, two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, two bathrooms, TV etc you will feel very much at home (assuming of course that your home is constantly bathed in sunshine and you live within minutes of the world's top tourist destinations!). Also within the community you are just yards from the shared swimming pool and Jacuzzi where you will also find a 3,700 sq ft clubhouse with a communal kitchen, a playroom with pool table etc, a well equipped gym and a sauna.
Further details outdoors: Safe areas outside for children to play, lots of sunbathing space around the swimming pool. Pop back in the middle of the day to freshen up with a quick dip before heading back to enjoy an afternoon in the parks, especially on those days when you want to stay to watch the fireworks in the evening.
Just yards from the '192' you have easy access to all local resorts. Enjoy fantastic days at any of the Disney parks or Universal Studios, Cape Kennedy, the Gulf Coast or the Atlantic Coast. We will provide you with a full guide to enjoy before you get there. The driving is easy, the natives are friendly and the weather is fabulous. Oh and did I mention that the $ is cheap so don't forget to leave time to visit some of the fabulous shopping malls? They make the Trafford Centre and Bluewater look like your local corner shops!

Wow! What a wonderful apartment. The accommodation exceeded all our expectations. Spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Spacious and comfortable. Everything you could ever want and more including Internet connection and cable TV showing some of the latest film releases. The accommodation has a real feel of quality and is very tastefully decorated. Fantastic location only yards from the H192 and we made use of all the great (free) facilities; pool, hot tub, sauna, gym and games room.
Why stay in the grotty International Drive motels etc when you can live the life of luxury for not that much more.

So I hope this help...
It was important to our family that we picked the best place to stay whilst in Orlando. After researching on-line we came across Cane Island in Kissimmee, a property owned by Richard Storey. We arrived to find a well maintained, spacious villa with two bedrooms both on suite and walking wardrobes. A large fitted kitchen with all the mod cons with all utilities you could ever wish for. There's a comfortable living/dining area and patio for those warm nights for relaxing on after the parks. The complex is very clean, safe and secure with parking and a communal swimming pool. The location could not have been better with plenty of shops, restaurants & bars within walking distance or a short drive. Disney is only 10 or 15 minutes drive away so perfect for a family holiday or get away. I will defiantly be back and I would recommend Cane Island to my friends and family. Thank you Richard for making our staying in Orlando a great holiday to remember.

We had a good time in Orlando and I your condo is wery nice. ( all we needed - we didnt use your kitchen ) It is really pefect for 2 to 4 golfers and I will recommend it to my members. Returned from our two weeks in Florida on Monday and felt that we wanted to let you know about the accommodation.
In terms of location, it was superb - right next to the 192, which we know well from previous holidays. Couldn't be more ideal for access to the theme parks and other amenities. The four of us had plenty of space without feeling on top of each other. The fittings and fixtures are superb. The photos on the website do not do it justice! We would certainly recommend it to anyone going out to Florida.
Mirabel was extremely helpful when we had problems with the electrics following a prolonged storm and sorted them immediately. What a delight it is to have someone like her to deal with.
Staying at Cane Island Loop definitely added to the holiday and helped to make it the great holiday it was. Can't wait for the next one!

Just to reassure you both – the information arrived the day before we left!
We had a great holiday. The condo in Orlando was exactly as described on the website, and was exactly what we needed for our week doing the parks. It was in a great location – and we didn’t struggle to find places to eat. My only complaint was that it was far too near the Krispy Kreme donut shop!
My girls were delighted to have their own bathroom – and such a huge dressing room! Our only regret was that we didn’t get to make a smoothie in the blender…..and our no 1 gadget was the ice maker in the freezer – it was used a lot.
The pool and spa area were brilliant and never busy…I can’t say that we actually used the fitness suite but it looked good.
The information that you provided was invaluable – we didn’t have a map and used your directions to navigate around!
I would certainly recommend your condo to other friends if they were planning a trip. It was comfortable and well furnished with all the equipment you could possible need.
