About the home

You will feel it the moment you pass the entry gates to this beautiful new community. A sense of peace and harmony with nature. Pleasing street-scapes are lined with ancient oak trees, giving shade as well as a taste of Florida's natural beauty. Sparkling lakes provide a habitat for cranes, ospreys, and blue heron. Cumbrian Lakes is a peaceful place to come home to, with it’s own nature trail; yet it is so close to all the excitement that makes central Florida the number one tourist destination in the world

The villa is luxurious with 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms, private screened pool and Jacuzzi backing onto a natural lake. This is a corner plot and it is not overlooked by other villas. The home has 2452 sq ft of air conditioned living space; it overlooks a lake at the rear. It has an extra –large deck area around the pool, with outdoor dining table (under a shaded area) and sun beds.
Our home is on a corner plot, which has a relatively large distance from the neighbouring homes for Florida standards. Our villa is pushed much father back than other homes and so is very private. When you swim in our pool, you have a clear and private view of the natural lake which has no homes on the opposite side of the lake (a rare treat in Florida) just a small forest. Other homes and pools do not look over our pool and so our pool area is very private.

Landing area (Loft) has a TV, DVD, & Play station 2. Here you can get some peace and let the kids watch a DVD or play on the games station!

Master bedroom 1st floor has a King- size bed, en-suite bathroom, large bath & shower, two sinks, toilet, cable-TV, & telephone. The master bedroom has its own balcony overlooking the pool and lake with patio furniture. A lovely spot for a relaxing evening drink!

2 Queen- size doublerooms, cable TV, bathroom next door with toilet, bath shower and sink. One of these bedrooms has its own sliding double patio doors out to the pool area. Great for an evening dip in the pool before bed. All bedrooms have co-ordinated bedding and furnishings.

2 Twin bedrooms ground floor and 1st floor which each have 2 single beds, cable TV, bathroom next door with toilet, bath shower and sink.

Further details outdoors:
The pool and Jacuzzi area is very private. This is unusual in Florida as most rental homes are built close to each other. From our pool deck you have an excellent view of the lake and a private wood. There are no overlooking homes. The pool measures 30’ x 15’ ; it is heated, with night lighting and a pool side toilet and shower.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

Orlando - Kissimmee is very well known for it's close proximity to all the attractions. Orlando Airport is approximately 30 mins away. Disney is just 10 mins drive away. The nearest beaches on the east coast and are approximately one hour's drive. Daytona is the most popular. This area has beautiful sandy beaches stretching some 25 miles through Daytona Beach onto Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Centre. The Gulf Coast beaches are approximately 1hr 15mins drive to the west.

The Kissimmee / Cumbrian Lakes area

Cumbrian Lakes has 3 lakes of which one is illuminated in the evening and 2 of the lakes can be fished in. There is a children's playground and nature walks on the community. Numerous golf courses within 10 minutes. Horse riding and a children's petting farm are close by. Shopping malls and designer outlets all within easy reach. Restaurants in abundance from Chinese, Japanese to succulent steak houses all within 5 minutes drive away.
24 hour Walmart just 5 minutes drive away where you can buy anything. Other attraction travel times are shown below.

Orlando International Airport is just 30 minutes drive away from our villa. Car hire is easy and fast at the airport but it is advised to pre book. We always use Dollar rental as they are situated in the airport lobby and the car pickup is also on site.
