About the home

Our villa accommodates 8 people, and is equipped with everything needed to make your stay enjoyable.

There are four bedrooms complete with full baths: two king-sized master suites, a queen and a bedroom with twin beds. The chair in the nook makes into a twin, too. Each bathroom has a hair dryer and each bedroom, a flat screen television.

The kitchen is outfitted with a full range of large and small appliances: toaster, coffee-maker, slow-cooker, griddle, grill and blender.

The spacious living room is a great place to view our movie collection or watch the 'big game'. A PS2 gaming system (along with a variety of games) is in the twin bedroom, and readers can relax in the nook area and enjoy reading from our collection of books or playing some board games.

Other notable amenities include free long distance telephone calling within North America and high-speed wireless internet. We also supply two strollers, crib and a several infant blankets. There is an ample supply of white linens and towels for use within the townhouse as well as coloured towels for the beach, pool or water parks. In-house laundry means you have fewer suitcases to pack!

We are a four-minute stroll to the main complex where there is access to a convenience store, internet cafe, pool bar, ATM, rentals(game, movie, laptop, BBQ), taxi and shuttle services, childcare accessories and recommended services (www.kidsniteout.com)or massage and golf bookings.

All amenities within the resort are within walking distance ( playing courts; water area; children's playground; confectionary; internet café; gym; movie theatre etc.)
We presently have two children's bicycles for your enjoyment with plans to purchase two adult bikes.

Further details

The house, although not adapted for wheelchair use, is all on one level and is an open plan so most wheelchairs can be accommodated.
There is a very small step into the house at both the front and the back but this is easily negotiated by wheelchair users. The doors into the bedrooms are wide enough to accommodate most wheelchairs, There are two bedrooms with en suite shower rooms instead of bathrooms, but guests would need to be able to transfer into the showers as they are not adapted for ease of access.
Please inquire for dimensions, etc if required.
Our home is self catering, therefore you are responsible for your purchasing of groceries, day-to-day cleaning, bed & towel changing, etc. Our management company can provide a mid-stay clean for a fee.
We have a local property manager who is available should you have any questions or problems.
We can offer the house with or without pool heat (pool heat is an additional charge).

Conditions

We encourage stays to be a minimum of 7 nights; however, we can accommodate shorter periods at a higher nightly rate.
We may be able to offer discounts on stays longer than 21 nights. Please inquire for details.
Because of severe allergies, we must say no to pets and smoking.
We also own a second property at WH should your travel party exceed what this home can accommodate or should a town house stay be preferential. Inquire in your email.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

Florida's wonderful climate makes it the ideal holiday destination all year round.
Whether your focus is golf, beaches, sporting events, theme parks or just to take it easy, Central Florida has something for everyone.
Central Florida is home to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Sea World parks, Discovery Cove, Kennedy Space Centre and many more world famous attractions. it is only a short drive to watch the Orlando Magic basketball team and approximately 11/2 hrs to attend professional baseball, ice hockey or NFL football in Tampa. You will never be without something to do.

The Kissimmee / Windsor Hills Resort area

Kissimmee is home to the rodeo. Most people don't think of cowboys and cattlemen when thinking of Florida; however, the Silver Spurs Arena is located close to Windsor Hills and is a wonderful contrast to the many tourist areas. For the adventurous, there are fantastic airboat/ alligator tours within an hour of Windsor Hills which are well worth a visit. You can also Segway around Celebration, a Disney-inspired community just 5 minutes down the road on Hwy 192, or view the Kissimmee/ Disney area from the sky via a helicopter tour. Some free admission activities in the area include Downtown Disney, Old Town and Boardwalk.
There is a HUGE variety of eateries along Hwy 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy) from budget buffets to first class dining, so you can have a different dining experience each evening.

Kissimmee is served by two main International Airports.
Orlando International is closest to the house (approximately a half hour drive) and receives most Scheduled Flights (from the UK, this is mainly Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, US Airways and Delta).
Sanford Airport is located just over an hours drive from the house and this is where charter flights would arrive (i.e. Thompson).
Both airports have car hire locations actually at the airport (not off site). A car is recommended when staying at a private house as taxis can be expensive.
Both airports are easy to navigate to and from. We suggest bringing along a GPS to save having to add that expense to your car rental.
