About the home
Set on a premium lot on Cumbrian Lakes our home Disney and tranquillity enjoys one of the most private locations available, enabling you to relax and soak up the Florida sunshine whilst overlooking a magical lake and ancient conservation forest with maximum privacy.
As well as its fantastic setting Disney and Tranquiliity offers a southerly facing crystal clear pool and automatic spa, 5 beautiful bedrooms, with lovely comfy beds and top quality linens. Three full bathrooms and two half bathrooms – so no queueing!!
We also offer a relaxing formal lounge and stylish dining area. Our Family Room houses a huge 62 " HDTV with hundreds of channels including English football plus all the latest releases via Netflix. We have an extensively equipped Kitchen with Breakfast bar and an additional "Nook" which overlooks the pool.
Our Utility Room is equipped with a large washing machine, tumble dryer, steam Iron and ironing board.
New for 2012 we have just upgraded our upstairs entertainment area with an OUT OF THIS WORLD 58" 3D BLU-RAY INTERNET TV plus a great selection of 3D movies to suit everyone.Wii and Wii Fit.
Our truly ‘funtastic’ games room has a Slate Bed Pool Table, Air Hockey, Foose Ball, Electronic Darts, Football Shaped TV, HiFi, Fishing Equipment, 7 bikes and helmets suitable for all ages.
Our aim is to provide our guests with a real home from home and because we are fortunate enough to be able to stay ourselves for around half of the year our home is meticulously maintained and constantly improved.
It’s hard to imagine that this tranquil oasis is just minutes away from all the hustle and bustle that Orlando has to offer, BUT IT IS! Disney’s wonderful theme parks are just 9 miles away. The HWY 192 with it’s abundance of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and entertainment to suit everyone is just a short drive.
Your every wish Golf, Horse Riding, Golden Beaches they’re all with in easy reach all making for the perfect home in a perfect location for the perfect holiday of a life time.

The property is perfectly located for restaurant and shopping on the 192 and gives easy access to all the Theme parks (Disney, Universal and Seaworld). The main highway routes are reasonably nearby making it easy to travel further afield such as Tampa (Busch Gardens), Kennedy Space Centre and the Clearwater, Daytona and Cocoa beaches. |

Let me start by saying that we have been coming to Orlando for 15 years and have stayed at a great many Villas. We have stayed in a few areas, but have discovered that being just off the Highway 192 is always the best place to be. We have used this Villa on a number of occasions, once over Christmas when the owners had taken great care and attention over all the fantastic decorations. That is a theme that continues throughout the Villa, everything you could possibly need is already close at hand. From super fast Wi-fi to games machines and DVD's. Not to mention a well stocked kitchen should the desire to actually cook something yourself (Christmas Dinner in our case!!)come across you. Everything is a good quality and just at hand, from the pool table to the iphone charging bedside clocks. You really will not be let down if you are able to find a few weeks free to stay at Cumbrian Lakes. We could not recommend it more highly. |

We have just returned from our second holiday in this beautiful house! It's a credit to the owners! It's immaculately maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly want. We must have stayed in more than 20 villas over the years we have been visiting Florida and this is by far the best! It's location is so peaceful and quiet. It backs onto a beautiful lake with woods behind. There's so much wildlife to see, we saw a fantastic array of birds, turtles, armadillos etc - even an alligator! Yet in 10 minutes you can be on the 192 with all it's great restaurants, supermarkets etc and Disney's not much further! The outside space is huge with lots of furniture, really nice loungers for everybody. The pool and spa are superb! There's a bbq and even a fridge outside! It's very private too - we loved it! It was great sitting out there with a glass of wine at night watching the stars! The lads loved watching all the English football matches on the huge TV in the lounge. And the 3D TV on the landing was amazing! Not to mention the Wii and all the stuff in the games room! And the bikes/fishing rods etc!! The owners have thought of everything! The beds were sooo comfy. All the bedrooms are beautifully decorated - the kids will love the Disney rooms! Lots of spare bedding and towels - even beach towels for outside. All of it spotless! Best equipped house we've stayed in. Like a home from home but with much better weather! We really appreciated the Wi-fi and the printer. And we made great useof all the Ipod docking stations. It was a pleasure dealing with Sue the owner. She answered all my queries immediately and went out of her way to be helpful. I can't think of one negative thing to say about it. I would stay there again tomorrow! I WISH!!!!! :) |

Super duper place to stay for our family holiday to Disney. We all loved the pool, loved the house & loved Orlando. Pool was fantastic – Many volley ball championships taken place! Kids loved the bedside lamps too! We saw gators, armadillo, eagle, turtle, lizards, cranes, possum & Pigs! And not forgetting the bugs. Anyway they are telling me to stop writing now – we had a fab holiday – thanks for loaning us your house XXX – The Hopkinson’s, Jone’s and Howes.
Back again 2 years later. Kids enjoyed Pool tournaments in the games room. Big TV is awesome. Not as much rain as 2 years ago but would you believe it tropical storm Faye gave us our last 2 days of rain. Still sat outside under shelter and read. Sat writing this taking in the view, we are sad to be leaving even though we are moving on to go on a cruise. The house and location are fabulous what we expected and more. Loved the peace and quiet watching the wild life, birds, alligators little lizards. House is very clean, tasteful and comfortable everything we needed, it felt like home. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home the décor is wonderful. Our grand daughter Katie especially loved the princess room, our grandson Tyler the car room and our daughter the master suite. Everything was great including the pool and the weather. Prices include all Florida state taxes, utilities, end of stay clean. BBQ, Internet/WIFI, Safe, Local and international calls are free.
For added comfort we recommend having the pool and spa heated from October to April, this is an additional £100 per week, but worth every penny.
To secure a booking all we require is a completed booking form together with a payment deposit of £100 per week or part thereof. The final balance being due (together with a refundable security deposit of £200) eight weeks before your arrival date.
We do have lots of repeat guests and consequently our home gets booked very quickly, so to avoid disappointment don't hesitate to contact us today!
