About the home

The villa has a spacious family room that opens on to the shaded lanai, to relax in during the day or evening, with luxurious sofas and comfortable furnishings, a 27 - inch cable TV and playstation which can be used to watch your favourite dvds or tv shows while on vacation. The villa is situated at the end of a cul de sac giving the guest extra privacy.

Should you need to surf the web during your stay, high speed wireless internet access is available in our home.
The villa also offers a fully equipped washer, dryer and ironing facilities along with a double garage.

Sleeping accommodation in the vacation home includes a spacious master bedroom that opens on to the lanai, with a queen - size bed, 19 -inch cable TV, nightstands with lamps, telephone, dresser and closet space, together with a master bathroom, which has a single vanity basin, toilet and walk-in shower, and has separate access to the pool deck. There is a further spacious master bedroom with a queen-size bed, nightstand with lamp, and closet space, plus its own private master bathroom. For the children, there are 2 bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds, dressers with lamps, closets and a shared family bathroom. Finally, there is a sofa bed in the family room The kitchen is fully equipped with almost everything you could need to prepare a special family meal together, or a quick snack to enjoy by the pool.

Outside the pool deck has a privacy wall to the rear, south facing pool (heated on request). The pool is within a screened area. Sun loungers, tables and chairs are within this area. Each door onto the patio is alarmed which is required by Florida Law. Linen and towels are provided but not beach towels.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

Florida is known as the sunshine state with January temperatures at around 22C and summer temperatures at 32C. The majority of Orlando's attractions can be reached within 10-15 minutes and Walmart is just less than a five minute drive away. The villa is an hour away from the Gulf coast and well worth a visit. You can shop until you drop at Florida Mall and the Outlets stores and come back and relax in the pool.

The Kissimmee / Terra Verde Resort area

Terra Verde Resort is a stunning gated community resort built around a 3 acre lake. The resort has a fantastic clubhouse with heated swimming pool and features an on site concierge, fitness centre, games room, ATM and DVD hire. Outside is the large, landscaped heated resort pool, spa, Tiki bar, half basketball court, beach volleyball court. For the kids there is a play area with swings, slides and a climbing rock. You can also try fishing in the fully stocked lake. All of these facilities are available to all guests.

The villa is a short distance from Old Town with attractions, restaurants and bars. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and Water Parks are approximately 10 to 15 mins drive from Terra Verde.

“Like a home from home” We stayed in the villa recently and cannot fault the villa or its location. It was furnished to a high standard, very clean, well maintained and well equipped for a family of 4. The villa is well situated at the very end of a cul-de-dac which meant it was very quiet and there was no passing traffic. The Terra Verde resort staff were very friendly and informative of the local restaurants and the resort is 2 mins drive from a large Walmart and around 10 mins drive to Walt Disney World. We spoke to the owner John on a few occasions before we visited and found him most accomodating and pleasant to deal with. We had no issues whilst we were there and would definitely recommend this villa. If we go back we will book this villa again, it made the holiday so much more special
