Situated close to local beaches, coastal walks and many of the nearby conservation areas, this lovely little hamlet is ideal for those looking to enjoy the great outdoors. The local skyline is dominated by the towering peaks of Scafell, Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell whilst the stunning valleys of Eskdale and Dunnerdale are close by and provide breathtaking scenery throughout the year. Other local attractions include Muncaster Castle, a World Owl centre and the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway.
