The cottage had a large bathroom and a shower room, a sitting room and separate fully equipped kitchen/dining room. It has been recently decorated and furnished to a very high standard with exposed beams, original fire places and cream painted floor boards through out. At the rear of the property there is an enclosed high stone walled garden, which is a beautiful relaxing area in which to bbq or dine alfresco. The Yorkshire region

North Yorkshire is a brilliant place to escape to. You immediately start to slow down and realise that everyone has time to smile and say hello to each other! Once you have unwound, you have so much choice. Miles of unspoilt countryside to discover.

Kirkbymoorside is a small town off the main road from Hemlsley to Scarborough. It is surrounded by beautiful unspoilt countryside. Visitors are well catered for with tea-rooms, artisan bakery, public houses, restaurants and antique shops. Wednesday is market day and locals and visitors alike can enjoy the bustling atmosphere. There are five pubs in the surrounding area which are regularly in the Good Pub Guide. Nearby Hutton-le-Hole has Ryedale Museum and a wonderful handmade chocolate factory (well worth the visit) and Lastingham is beautiful old church. Pickering is the home of the North York Moors Steam Railway and is a 'must do' day out for all visitors. I could go on for ever, as you can see I love the area, I hope that one day you might be able to sample the magic of the area.

"Another Thoroughly Enjoyable Stay"

We have been staying at Howe End Cottage twice yearly for some time and have always found this spacious and nicely located cottage to be really clean, well equipped, regularly updated, warm and welcoming. Kirbymoorside is a lovely market town and Howe End Cottage the ideal place to stay.
