"Absolutely fabulous!"

Spotlessly clean, all mod cons, comfy bed, constant hot water, loads of cooking utensils, local information leaflets, books, dvd player............Absolutely fabulous!
We didn't get chance to do an awful lot of exploring as the weather was dire, but did take the dog out for a couple of hours each day in to the woods a little further on hagg lane and then wandered round some of the nearby villages (and drove to Whitby for fish&chips,of course!). The cottage was so nice though, it didn't matter that we spent a fair amount of time indoors - the view from the patio windows ensured we achieved our goal - a few perfectly relaxing days in beautiful surroundings.
