Northern England region

The North York Moors are an area of outstanding natural beauty and The Cottage has the added benefit of being within the national parks.

The Cottage is ideally situated for touring the area with York, Scarborough and Whitby all around 1/2 ours drive away.

The area also boasts many of the countries top tourist attractions with Castle Howard and Flamingo Land only around 20 minutes away by car.

There are plenty of quaint villages to explore, and within 7 miles are the market towns of Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley and Pickering.

The local area is also awash with smaller museums and castles.

"The best cottage we have stayed in."

We chose this cottage for its location but upon arrival we realised we had chose well!
The cottage was immaculate throughout with a huge amount of attention to detail, everything was perfect and the Royal Oak pub just around the corner serves the best breakfasts ever - great for a real treat!
The cottage is well laid out and very cosy with the log burner we shall defiantly be booking again soon.
