The Old Stables is a conversion of a stable block within the scattered hamlet of Mansergh, three miles from Kirby Lonsdale, inbetween the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Park. This upside down cottage has three ground floor bedrooms, consisting of a twin room with en-suite shower room, another twin room with utility room off, and one double, as well as a ground floor family bathroom, which means this cottage sleeps six people. The first floor at this cottage contains a oak fitted kitchen and an open plan living room with separate dining area, multi-fuel stove and small balcony. Outside, this cottage has off road parking for two cars and a garden, seating area, garden furniture and BBQ. The Old Stables is a wonderful family cottage in a lovely area.

The Kirkby Lonsdale area
Mid way between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District and in the heart of the Lune Valley, the attractive market town of Kirkby Lonsdale makes an excellent spot for a family vacation. Mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, this lovely town holds a 13th Century market charter, a tradition that still continues every Thursday. Market day is an ideal opportunity for visitors to explore the variety of distinctive shops in the town or the many 17th and 18th Century buildings that can be seen throughout the settlement. As a favourite haunt of the artist Turner, the Lune Valley is home to the medieval ‘Devil's Bridge’, which can still be seen spanning the river. Throughout the area there are many quiet country lanes which are ideal for exploring by car, bike, or even on horseback, and the surrounding countryside provides great facilities for tennis, riding, fishing and a variety of riverside and country walks.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
