The Cumbria/Lake District

Gateway to the lakes, this is a great base to explore cumbria and the Lake District. Exceptionally ideal for walkers, cyclists and country lovers, in fact anyone who loves the great outdoors !!! The Lake District is beautiful whatever the season, making it a great place to visit anytime of the year!

Kirkby Lonsdale

Just off the m6, down a quiet lane with the Lancashire canal running along side it. The cottage is a great base to explore the surrounding area. The Lake District with its abundance of walks and stunning scenery. The market town of Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale and plenty of sight seeing and activities to suit all ages within easy reach. Highly recommend is the The Plough at Lupton with an excellent menu and great ambience!
