"Exceptional cottage in beautiful countryside."
We stayed in the cottage for a week and were greeted with a most welcome bottle of wine and box of chocolates. The cottage was spotless with outstanding fixtures and fittings. The cottage contained everything we needed and more. The owners had thoughtfully left two booklets one containing everything we needed to know about the cottage and surrounding facilities and one with plenty of tourist information. Most of the fittings and gadgets appeared to be near new and all instructions booklets were close at hand. Kirkby Lonsdale is close by and has numerous shops, restaurants and pubs. The cottage is situated between the Dales and Lake District and we ventured both ways during our stay. One of our party has limited mobility and the cottage was perfect for her with a bedroom and wet room on the ground floor. The patio area had garden furniture and beautiful views over the fields behind. We would recommend this property for couples, families or friends. We could think of no negatives and will no doubt be returning in the future.

"Peaceful, quiet, home from home!"
We love Lark Meadow. It is a very peaceful place to stay on holiday with lots to see and do nearby. The cottage is equipped with everything you need to make it feel like home. It's immaculately kept and Angela has added many little personal touches to make your stay special. The nearby Whoop Hall pool, jacuzzi, gym and steam room is very much appreciated.
We will most definitely return to Lark Meadow, it's one of our favourite places to be!!

"The only accommodation we have return to in years of holidaying"
What's not to like about this quality and immaculate holiday home. This is the first time after 15 years of holidaying in the UK, with our family, that we have ever returned to exactly the same accommodation, making it one of the best we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Below are our highlights:-
High quality facilities
Wifi a great bonus
Swimming and Leisure centre attached to hotel.
Quiet and serene
Lovely village of Kirkby Lonsdale is close by.
Excellent location to visit places in Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria.
The owners are so obliging, friendly and helpful.
Communication between owner and ourselves was first class.
We highly recommended it.

"The perfect peaceful holiday retreat"
Having been to Lark Meadows on many occasions over the last five years I can honestly say it really is the perfect holiday retreat for anyone wanting a quiet relaxing holiday with superb countryside views , comfortable , clean , and top class accommodation. It also has the benefit of being adjacent to the Whoop Hall Hotel , where all the hotel facilities are available free of charge , whether it be the use of the gym / pool ,bar , restaurant , etc .Having recently changed hands Lark Meadows , has been updated to a high standard , with new appliances , tvs in every room , the addition of a floor fan by the new owner , Angela , is an absolute godsend , as the cottage can become rather warm in hot weather
My wife is wheelchair bound and finds the cottage absolutely superb , although not categorised as disabled friendly , the downstairs accommodation is first class , and as we take a portable / collapsible shower chair with us we find we can manage really well. Looking forward to our next visit in September , a really great holiday...

An absolutely beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location is stunning with views over open country side. We found it so peaceful and relaxing sitting outside on the patio with a chilled glass of wine, thoughtfully provided by the owners. This is definitely the place to unwind.
There are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area including Kirkby Lonsdale, Ingleton and the Lake District is just a short drive away.
We made full use of the pool and fitness complex at Whoop Hall which is great when the weather isn't kind. There was also books, dvd's and games made available in the cottage for adults and children to enjoy.
Would definitely recommend this property. We have already booked our next visit and can't wait to get there again.
