A homely accommodation with panoramic views across the Lune Valley and beautifully furnished to a high standard.

You will begin to unwind and relax as soon as you arrive. It is the perfect place to explore the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks; there's something for every member of the family regardless of age or personal taste.

Rye Meadows has achieved a 4 star Gold Award certification from Visit Britain. The property has stylish and luxurious furnishings and contains everything to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The spacious living area includes a wall mounted LCD TV, DVD, CD and contemporary wall mounted gas fire. The living area leads to a balcony and the large picture windows have views over the beautiful Lune Valley where you can watch the animals grazing in the fields opposite.

The property has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a gallery landing seating area where you can relax with a book or magazine. The double (private) mezzanine bedroom also has views across the Lune Valley, a walk in wardrobe and a luxurious private bathroom. The twin bedroom has views over the ornamental pond and towards Ingleborough. The beds have been carefully selected to ensure guests enjoy their holiday in comfort.

The luxury fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge and freezer, microwave, oven and hob and there is also a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The Kirkby Lonsdale area

The property is within walking distant to the historic Kirkby Lonsdale - a market town on the boundaries of Cumbria, Lancashire and North Yorkshire and was included in the Domesday Book of 1086. It has 17th and 18th century buildings and is famous for Ruskin’s View – a painting of the River Lune by the artist Turner. It is also famous for Devil’s Bridge which is a three arched bridge that spans the River Lune.

Kirkby Lonsdale oozes history but is also known for its trendy shops. It retains individual chic boutiques, restaurants and attractive 17th and 18th century inns.

There are many riverside and country walks in the area including a challening walk up one of the 3 peaks - Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent for the more adventurous!

“Better than the photos made out!” Lovely lodge, will decorated - there was six of us and took both Rye and Burrow Meadows. The furnishings and added extras were brilliant - the flats are stunning and we had a ball. The location is... more

“Everything you need for a great holiday.” Excellent apartment, clean, spacious and very well equipped. Fantastic view. Starter pack ( milk tea coffee Wine ) very nice touch. Comfy beds,nicely furnished.
