"Fantastic location for a family or friends to get together"

Arrived to find the farmhouse all ready for us. Shortly after our arrival our Tesco delivery appeared - much easier that trying to pack a lot of food and drink in the car.
The farmhouse is very quiet and isolated a safe environment for dogs and children. It is comfortable and very well equipped.

During our stay we had a trip to Grizedale forest where there is a variety of walks......don't forget to check out the Go Ape course (book before you go if you are interested). We visited Coniston and walked around part of the lake also Tarn Hows which is very pretty along with Hawkshead village. Make sure you take an OS map with you if you plan to do any walking from the door.
As a suggestion to the owner it would have been useful if there were a few recommended walks of different lengths that could be done from the door - we had a map with us though so this was no problem.
We would definately stay here again - Many Thanks
