Kinvara also hosts a festival at the end of August "Cruinniu na mBad" or "Gathering of the Boats" which is an ancient festival which attracts hundreds of boats including the largest collection of native Galway Hookers in the world in addition to the village again hosting an open air concert of traditional Irish music and dance. Kinvara also hosts its own local St. Patrick's parade and festival each S. Patrick's weekend.
