Kinsale

Kinsale.. ...Ireland's Gourmet Capital"

Located on the south west coast of Ireland, the medieval fishing port of Kinsale is full of character & charm with its yacht-filled harbor, narrow streets and brightly painted buildings adorned with kaleidoscopic colour tumbling out of hanging baskets and bursting forth from wall planters.

Positioned on the estuary of the popular salmon fishing Bandon River, it is only 25km south of Cork city, and marks the beginning of scenic West Cork.

It is a top class sailing, deep-sea angling & watersports hub, boasting a magnificent deep water yacht club Marina at its centre. The marina caters for all types of craft, from day sailor to super yacht and visitors are invited to use all the facilities of the yacht club bar, restaurant, showers, telephone etc.

A vibrant blend of history and modern cosmopolitan Ireland, Kinsale is internationally recognized as the Gourmet capital of Ireland, with a wide selection of renowned restaurants & cafes. A variety of buzzing pubs cater for all tastes whether it's traditional Irish music, cool blues or a cozy 'conversation' bar.
