Located in the beautiful Kinross-shire, bordered by Perthshire and Fife. Set amidst gently rolling hills it is the ideal location for hillwalking, golf, cycling, fishing, bird watching or just relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Scotland. The county town, Kinross, is situated at junction 6 on the M90 providing easy access from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, St. Andrews, Dundee and Perth.
Known as the gateway to the Highlands, Kinross-Shire nestles around Loch Leven where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned in 1567 on Castle Island. The loch is a magnet for bird watching, stunning walks or wonderful food in one of the many local restaurants, cafes and farm shops.
Local festivals/events include Edinburgh Film Festival (June), Royal Highland Show (June) T in the Park (July), Kinross Agricultural Show (August) and Edinburgh Fringe (August) among others. Knockhill Racing Circuit is less than 5 miles away and features many events throughout the year including British Super Bike in June.

Turn left out of the farm and within a 5 minute drive the village Crook of Devon offers a village shop, pub, garage and stunning fabric shop. Go a further 5 minutes and you reach Dobbies Garden World with its own café.
Turn right to gorgeous views of Scotland passing Powermill Milk Bar - a café with additional gift centre. Rumbling Bridge is located opposite and offers a short trail by foot in the peaceful countryside.
Head off to Kinross (approx. 6miles) and you will find a high street off shops as well as a Sainsbury's, Co-operative, post office, chemist and banks. Within 25 miles you will find a number of out of town shopping centres for that little bit of retail therapy.
