Nestled on the shores of Loch Rannoch, the Loch Rannoch Highland Club consists of a mixture of 85 studio, one, two, and three bedroom units. Each of these exceptionally well appointed units has its own conservatory and magnificent views of Loch Rannoch and the majestic Schiehallion, or Sidh Chailleann in Gaelic (Fairy Hill of the Caledonians). This Munro is one of the best known in Scotland, and offers breathtaking views and walks. Each lodge is fully equipped with its own kitchen, utensils, towels and linen. Our staff are available to assist with information and booking local restaurants and activities.
The clubs' set activities include; – “the clan night” where two of our tame and (usually) pacified Highlanders give an extremely interesting talk on local history, the clan system, highland dress, and weaponry. The club organised guided walks are set at a pace that everybody can enjoy. Why not spend an evening showing off your intellectual skills at the club quiz night? A water colour masterclass is also provided by the club with a guarantee that every participant will leave with a painting. Of course, no visit to Scotland would be complete without participating in a whisky tasting class. The clubs set activities are included in the price of your accommodation.

From Rannoch Station you can catch the train to Fort William and then carry on to Mallaig, either by ScotRail or by the world famous Jacobean steam railway following the renowned route used by this steam locomotive in the Harry Potter films.
By road Pitlochry, Perth, Aberfeldy, Aviemore and Inverness are easily within day visit radius.

"very very good"
very good accommodation,highly recommended, beautifull views across the loch, a little remote,especially for eating out, apartment has everything you need and more.
only issue was after a 9 hour drive and arriving at 2.40 pm, we wernt allowed into apartment till 4.20pm,even though I got e mail to confirm I could have the keys early,
and also be aware, we were out every day,and we were charged for electricity at 15.00 for 2 days,which is quite high.
think its a set rate even though you don't use no were near that much.
Thank you for taking the time to post your comment. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and found the accommodation to a very good standard. I apologise for the fact that you were unable to gain access to the apartment until after 4pm. Although the official entry time is actually 5pm we always try to accommodate an early entry if requested. Unfortunately, due to the size of the site and the level of weekly housekeeping/maintenance works required to maintain the site to a high standard we cannot always guarantee an early entry. You mentioned the cost of electricity which is expensive here. The relatively high cost is not peculiar to the Club and is general within the Rannoch area and, according to Scottish Hydro, is associated with their infrastructure. Although you say that you paid £15 for two days, you were actually with us for three nights. I assure you that charges are based strictly on individual consumption and the unit rate is passed on at cost. Finally, I am delighted to hear from our reservation section that you are proposing to visit us again later in the year.

"Damp, unventilated accommodation"
Dated accommodation, no heating on arrival, seemed to have been locked up for weeks!Kitchen equipment, cutlery, glasses etc of good quality.Bedrooms, clean but very sparse.Glad we had good company for… More
