The cottage offers accommodation that is ideal for couples enjoying a romantic break or families looking for an enjoyable holiday packed with activities. There are two bedrooms, and an open plan living area on the ground floor with a fitted kitchen and dining and seating areas. Border View has some charming character features such as exposed beams, and outside there is a spacious patio area with a garden, a relaxing place to kick off your shoes after a long day’s sightseeing.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgate provided. Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike storage. Large patio area to rear of house with garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no smoking and no pets. The Kington area
The town lies on the River Arrow, and is overlooked by Hergest Ridge – the musical inspiration of Elgar and Mike Oldfield. Renowned as a popular walking destination, Kington is surrounded by stunning open countryside and rolling hills that provide dramatic panoramic views. There is a good choice of restaurants, shops and pubs in the town, and many visitor attractions for the whole family such as Eastnor Castle, the Offa’s Dyke path and the Mortimer Trail. Charming Hay-on-Wye, famous for its annual literary festival and many book, craft and antique shops, is nearby, as is Hereford, known for its incredible Norman cathedral and 13th century Mappa Mundi.

,The surrounding area and villages provide beautiful scenic drives especially through the reservoirs to Devil's Bridge. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The cottage provided a very cosy retreat.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
