Haywood Cabin is perched at the top of Hergest Croft Gardens, just outside the pretty border town of Kington. It is an idyllic rural setting, perfect for those looking for undisturbed peace and tranquillity, as well as being in the heart of excellent walking country, only minutes away from the Offa's Dyke Path. Guests at the Cabin are offered complimentary admission to the renowned Hergest Croft Gardens, with the added benefit that they are free to visit outside opening hours and enjoy the gardens at their most serene.
Recently converted from an old workshop, the Cabin offers cosy but spacious studio accommodation for two people. Located by the side of an old farmyard, now home only to a couple of horses and a brood of chickens, it has a south-facing patio garden with spectacular views across to the Black Mountains. A large, bright bed-sitting area with exposed beams and west-facing windows boasts a king size bed with new pocket sprung mattress; towels and Egyptian cotton sheets are provided. Black-out blinds ensure that you are not woken by early morning sunshine. The shower room and thoughtfully equipped kitchen have recently been fitted to a high specification.
