Kingston has almost three miles of one of the most attractive stretches of the River Thames.

There are walks and cycle routes to Hampton Court, Teddington and Richmond along some of the most picturesque stretches of the Thames. There are also walks along the Hogsmill river , a tributary of the Thames, which is by the stone Clattern Bridge.
North of Kingston Bridge is Canbury Gardens, a leafy spacious park providing something for everyone. The wide riverside pathway ensures a pleasant walk and there are facilities for the more energetic. The gardens are thriving with wildlife and have become a popular spot for fishing, picnicking and feeding the ducks.

LOVED the location! There was a direct bus from Heathrow to Kingston (x26). Just a short walk from the bus station to the flat. The national rail is also a short walk from the flat. You are also close to the Thames River so, you can walk just about anywhere on the path. The flat was just the right size for a family of three. Oh, forgot to mention, you are in the heart of the Kingston shopping area. I plan on staying here again when we travel back to England in a few years.

We had a great time in Kingston at this apparment. Owner Giovanni was very welcoming and the apartment is very convenient for a holiday. It is close to the train station to London (it only takes 30 minutes to get to London), and it is also very close to the river and Kingston city centre, to supermarkets...
Thanks for your lovely review. I thought it might be helpful to let you have an update on the building works; The development of the hotel and leisure/conference centre is now completed and the area is looking wonderful again. Canonbury gardens just 30 seconds walk from the apartment is in full bloom - an ideal setting for a picnic and to watch the rowing and sailing boats on the Thames.
