The chalet (newly refurbished for 2012) is located in Kingsdown Holiday Park, which is situated in the quiet village of Kingsdown. The village has three pubs, two in the village and one situated right on the beach, providing excellent views across the channel.
In the heart of a spacious tree-lined park atop dramatic cliffs, Kingsdown Park is set along an unrivalled piece of Kent's stunning coastline. In a charming seaside village which has some quaint pubs perfect for tasty lunches or dinners, and the nearby town of Deal boasts an excellent selection of cafes, bars & restaurants, all just a short stroll away.
Kingsdown Park's contemporary holiday chalets are unique looking, built in a charming Scandinavian style in a beautifully relaxing holiday location, but with all the creature comforts of home. Its five star facilities include a indoor heated pool, tennis courts, bar and restaurant and crazy golf course.
There is a car park but no vehicular access to the park itself and it is completely safe for young children.

The Town hall hosts a local Farmers Market every Wednesday. Stock up on local produce including free range eggs, bread, cakes, fruit and veg.
Long running market at the Union Road car park. Visit stalls selling clothes, jewelry, toys and food.
Deal Maritime Museum

Originating in 1540, this is the largest of Henry VIII’s coastal forts, with 119 gun positions and an important coastal defence.
The bustling port of Dover is about 9 miles away, providing easy access to cross channel trips, the famous White Cliffs and the stunning castle which dominates the landscape. The nearby town of Deal has a promenade, lovely pebble beaches and a pier (great for crabbing and fishing!).
Canterbury with its wonderful cathedral and great shopping lies 16 miles to the east. St Margarets Bay is great for rock-pooling at low tide.

All comments and feedback are welcomed, however, it is clearly stated on the website that electricity supply is provided via a £1 coin-operated meter. Our sincere apologies if this was missed prior to guest arrival, we will change the advert to make the message more prominent.
Also the Chalet advert was taken down temporarily, whilst the Chalet underwent repair and a programme of much needed refurbishment. This work has now been completed and the advert is now back online.
