Home on Torrens is a new self - contained 4 bedroom holiday accommodation suited to guests who prefer to do things at their own pace or " to do your own thing each day "......... or perhaps you are looking for somewhere to "blend in" , de-stress and have peace and quiet for as long as you wish! You can sleep - in or just please yourself.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher. Enjoy a meal on the outside deck which has a gas BBQ.
When the sun go's down and it gets dark , just sit back on the deck and stare at the star show !!!!!

The property has four bedrooms . Three bedrooms each have a queen size bed in them and the fourth bedroom
has a single bed and a treble bunk. The bunk consists of a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top .
Please note that the single bunk bed is only suitable for a student age child and NOT an adult or very young child.
The house also comes with a cot and high chair if required.
There is seating at the dining table for 10 people and the TV area has plenty of seating as well. A good selection of DVD's are available for guest use .
The kitchen layout is generous and contains most items you will require to enjoy your meal if you decide to eat-in.
Please note that Macca's , KFC and Hungry's are not on Kangaroo sland. Other Take -Away is available as well as two good quality hotels that serve lunch and evening meals . I prefer "The Queenscliff Hotel".
You will find all the usual shops , cafes, banks etc but on a smaller scale in Kingscote . The Foodland supermarket is open 7 days.
Halal certified food / meat is generally not available on Kangaroo Island.

Plenty of off road parking for cars and room for fishing boat.

Population Kangaroo Island is approx 4400 people, 540kms of coastline , length 155km width ranges from 1 km to 55km.
Always leave your worries and stress at home and come and enjoy K.I. time .
What to wear: Summers are mild to hot ( 28deg to 40deg ) and cool evenings. Summer is December till late March.
Then April to June the weather is still ok but bit cooler and balmy days and calm seas. Light weight clothing and shorts are still ok. . Bring a jumper for the evening just in case.
June through to August is colder weather and you will need warm clothes and camping is not a good idea and you need to expect some rain.
September to November is a mixture of cool and warm days , leading up to summer . A great time to explore Kangaroo Island.
Places to visit Kingscote : Reeves Point, tidal sea water swimming pool and beach , pelican feeding and Penguin viewing at or near the Wharf at approximately 5pm. each day.
Look for the seals on the rocks at the start of the jetty.
Vivonne Bay : Little Sahara sand hills and sand boarding , quad biking
Western Kangaroo Island : Kelly Hill Caves , Snake Lagoon, Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch
Seal Bay : Take a guided beach walk amongst a colony of wild Australian Sea -lions.
Kangaroo Island's coastline has everything from surf pounded cliffs to calm cove and bays, from sandy beaches to rocky inlets .
Kangaroo island has some thing for everyone, surfing, fishing and diving .

"well presented property"
This house was a great holiday stay for our family. Kitchen was well equiped with sufficient utensils, house was clean and tidy and child friendly highly recommend for a large cgroup… More
