Staying at our barn, you will find that we set high standards of cleanliness and provide good quality furnishings which includes play equipment for younger guests. The property enjoys uninterrupted views across open countryside and offers a peaceful tranquil retreat from the hustle-bustle of everyday life. The Barn will be of interest to those who enjoy family seaside holidays as well as those who enjoy the countryside. There are spectacular walks from the Barn along the Avon river valley as well as more challenging pursuits on nearby Dartmoor. Many outdoor activities such as surfing, canoeing and windsurfing can be found at the famous beaches of Bantham, Slapton Sands, Blackpool Sands,Bigbury and Thurlestone.

Further details indoors: The property offers reverse level accommodation with a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area at first floor opening out onto the private gardens. The bathroom and bedrooms are on the ground floor looking in towards the original farmhouse and stables. There are exposed stone walls in the living rooms and beamed ceilings which give a rustic character to the property. Books and games are provided for those days when you don't want to hit the beaches or walk the moors. Pillows and duvets are provided. Please bring your own linen and towels
Further details outdoors: The sunny lawned private gardens contain two seating areas and enjoy views over open farmland and distant moors. There is a stone built BBQ and garden furniture including table and 6 chairs. There is ample parking for 3 vehicles and a stone open garage which provides a covered playspace with rope swing for younger guests.
