We have just returned from our second stay in Stokeleigh, and it was just as good as the first. We like the peaceful, "off the beaten track" location, but it is also centrally located for visiting all the main south Devon attractions. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable and well equipped. We thoroughly recommend it. |

We visit the South West twice a year and have thoroughly enjoyed our most recent stay at Stokeleigh. The property was comfortable and really well equipped, a beautiful conversion. We will be back in the South Hams again next year and would love to stay at Stokeleigh again, we're just waiting for our holiday dates to be confirmed. |

The owners of Stokeleigh are a delight to deal with giving all the help and assistance you could ask for. The property is first class being located on a quiet farm in the idyllic South Hams district. We particularly liked the spacious first floor living area. With so much to do in Devon, a week was insufficient so we have already decided to return at some point in the future. If you like a quiet and peaceful holiday but love days out to explore, you can't do better than staying here. Good value for money. |
Guestbook for Stokeleigh
The cottage is, as ever, an absolute delight.
We thought both Stokeleigh and Bramleigh cottages were really lovely - probably the best we have stayed in. Everything is so well thought out and attractively presented - you must have had fun setting them up. What a lovely position too. We put the boules pitch to good use and even the little ones (5 & 3) got the hang of it while we pretended we were in the south of France!
This cottage is really beautiful, totally exceeded our expectations. So peaceful and relaxing.
Superb cottage, well equipped, attention to detail. We have all had a wonderful time.
Beautiful setting, excellent accommodation, brilliant beaches.
What a lovely cottage and so well equipped. The best we have been to. We've had a fantastic fortnight.
Thank you for the lovely cottage. It's beautiful. The children liked going downstairs to bed!
