The West Country / Devon region

The South Hams region of Devon is an area of outstanding natural beauty, stretching from wild and beautiful Dartmoor to the stunning coastlines of the southern tip of Devon. There are miles of beautiful countryside, estuaries and beaches to explore, as well as the lovely waterside towns of Dartmouth, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Totnes.
Nearby are excellent restaurants, pubs, local individual shops and craft centres.
The mild, year round climate, makes the area an ideal location for holidays and short breaks at any time.

Kingsbridge area

The area has something for everyone, at any time of year and in any weather.
There are many interesting towns and places to visit and explore. The area is ideal for beaches, sailing, fishing, boat trips, surfing, golf, walks (many right from the doorstep), riding and cycling.

The cottage is equipped with a folder and guides giving detailed information of things to do and places to go.
These include:

Things to do/places of interest:
There are many fine pubs, restaurants and interesting shops in the surrounding towns and villages.
The spectacular Dartmoor National Park, wonderful for walking, is about 10 miles to the north.
Fantastic views and walks along the South Devon Coast Path.
