This is a great base for exploring throughout this beautiful area, due to its fabulous central location - just two miles from the popular sailing resort of Salcombe and four miles from the market town of Kingsbridge.

Kingsbridge / Malborough area

Boasting a multitude of thatched cottages, a village shop, two excellent country pubs and a thriving post office, the little town of Malborough is a thriving community set in wonderful, scenic countryside. It is situated just two miles from the popular sailing resort of Salcombe - the southernmost town in the South Hams. This stunning town is located on beautiful, scenic coastline, making it ideal for sailing, water sports, coastal walks and soaking up the sunshine. This is an incredibly wildlife rich area and birdwatchers can enjoy seeing the region's many rare species. Several country houses and gardens are close by, as is the lovely market town of Kingsbridge. Alternatively, walkers and rambler can explore the wide open spaces and rocky tors of Dartmoor, just 15 miles away.
