The Kingsbridge / Malborough area
Boasting a multitude of thatched cottages, a village shop, two excellent country pubs and a thriving post office, the little town of Malborough is a thriving community set in wonderful, scenic countryside. It is situated just two miles from the popular sailing resort of Salcombe - the southernmost town in the South Hams. This stunning town is located on beautiful, scenic coastline, making it ideal for sailing, water sports, coastal walks and soaking up the sunshine. This is an incredibly wildlife rich area and birdwatchers can enjoy seeing the region's many rare species. Several country houses and gardens are close by, as is the lovely market town of Kingsbridge. Alternatively, walkers and rambler can explore the wide open spaces and rocky tors of Dartmoor, just 15 miles away.

We loved almost everything. We love south Devon anyway and the cottage was very cosy with exceptional views across the countryside. Sykes managed our expectations of the property very well - it was just as we imagined it.

,Pippin cottage is a very well maintained and well furnished property. We could wish for nothing more to make a holiday more complete. We felt very comfortable and everything worked first time. It is ideally situated for walking and touring the area - National Trust properties galore! We have had many cottage holidays and on our way home we both agreed that it is the only one that we would really like to return to again and again.
