Recently awarded 4* by VisitScotland, the property has been furnished to a very high standard and is complimented by luxury and comfort.
Kinghorn with its spectacular beaches is well located and is a great base in which to travel around Central Scotland and the Southern Highlands. The excellent transport network means you can leave the car as you explore Fife, Edinburgh and beyond.
The property sleeps up to 5 adults and a cot for infants, making it suitable for families. Outdoor enthusiasts are well served with beautiful countryside, golf courses and golden beaches on your doorstep.

This luxuriously furnished home from home features lots of personal touches, from home baking in your welcome pack to local artist paintings and fresh flowers.
The large dining room, once the headmasters' quarters of the old school has lovely southerly views across the river forth in which to enjoy evening meals or just to watch the ships roll by.
The spacious relaxing lounge features a 42" Plasma freeview TV and Blu-ray DVD, iPod dock and board games for the nights in. A large selection of up to date tourist information, books, maps and itinerary suggestions are available to assist in planning your adventures and there are plenty of toys, board games and movies to keep the young ones happy.
The large bedroom can be made up with a super-king size or 2 single beds to suit. A full size single sofa bed is also available in this room for the 5th occupant. The rooms are spacious and both can accommodate a cot if required.
Your rental fee includes: Crisp luxury linen, fluffy towels, reasonable usage of wifi, electricity, heating and hot water.

The village has a bank (with ATM) butcher, baker, co-op grocery store (open late), cafe, post office, dentist and doctors, restaurant and 3 public houses.
There are numerous restaurants in the surrounding villages.
I can arrange for local organic vegetable and meat hampers to be delivered for or during your stay. Alternatively, you could arrange online for a food delivery straight to the apartment for your arrival. Please enquire.
Further details
The property is on one level and is located on the first floor (12 steps). Those with limited mobility may find the stairs difficult. However, children may run free as a child gate is provided.
During peak season, rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.
PLEASE NOTE:
If payment is made via the Holidaylettings website using Paypal, there is a small fee payable for this service (1.4% - 3.4% dependant on currency). Payments in GBP will be charged 1.4%. Please note that this fee is paid by you and will be deducted from your housekeeping deposit. If you would rather pay by cheque or BACS to avoid this charge, please get in touch to arrange this.

The historic Royal Burgh of Kinghorn lies on the golden coastline of the Kingdom of Fife. Its picturesque sheltered bay and beach nestles below the hillsides of the town.
This and the surrounding areas are steeped in history. The seaside town, with its many attractive 17th and 18th century buildings is nestled along the spectacular Fife Coastal Trail 20 miles from Edinburgh and St Andrews.
The fishing villages along the coast of Fife, known locally as the East Neuk can be explored on foot or by bike and are a great day out.
The Kinghorn area
There are numerous relaxing and energetic activities on offer in the local area. Golfers are well catered for with the local course just across the road and over 20 other 18 hole courses in the area. St Andrews, the home of golf is 20 miles away making this apartment ideally located as a fantastic base.
There are plenty of activities to entertain families, whatever the weather, with an eco farm, deep sea world, bird sanctuary, nature trails, outdoor tennis courts and bowling and indoor leisure facilities all in the immediate locale. The beautiful golden sandy beaches are within walking distance. Other activities include horse-riding, swimming, canoeing, sailing, fishing, walking, off road and road cycling. Boat trips to the islands in the river forth are also available.
The nearby, magnificent pettycur beach is ideal for windsurfing, kite surfing and when the tide is out, a fantastic 3 mile walk.
Within a short drive there are festivals such as the Pittenweem Arts Festival and Falkland Festival. The Edinburgh International Festival is a 30 minute scenic train journey right into the heart of the city (no parking dramas) over the Forth Rail Bridge and the music festival; T in the park is a half hour drive away.
There are cinema and theatre options also available locally.

Kinghorn Rail station is 2 minutes walk from apartment with access to the Scottish network and the rest of the UK.
If travelling by car , proceed to Forth Road Bridge on A90, if heading North or travelling South, come off at J1 of the M90 taking the A921 (Fife Coastal Route) heading east through Aberdour and Burntisland then in to Kinghorn. Apartment is 100 metres after 2nd right turn. Just drive through the stone pillars into the monoblock car park and your parking spaces (2) are straight ahead...easy!
