The East Anglia / Norfolk region
Picturesque clusters of stone cottages, rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers unspoilt beaches, saltmarshes, picturesque cliffs, and quaint flint villages. The pretty, popular resorts of Blakeney & Wells form part of the largest coastal nature reserve in England and Wales, where you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of common and grey seals, along with abundant birdlife. Families can enjoy the popular tourist resort of Great Yarmouth, enjoy the thrills and spills at Pleasurewood Hills theme park, or roam the cycle paths and sculpture trail at Thetford Forest (not forgetting the‘Go Ape’ high wire adventure centre in the heart of the forest). Cromer is well known for its pier and crabs, or how about Sheringham, from where you can ride on a steam train to the delightful town of Holt, with its specialist shops and charming market place? Equally as charming are the coastline and countryside of Suffolk. Historic sites such as Sutton Hoo and Framlington Castle sit alongside museums, high-wire adventure trails, beautiful gardens and bustling market towns, amidst lovely countryside with plentiful walking and cycle paths. The coastline of the area is popular with families, and the whole region has a very strong arts movement, with plenty of work by local artists on display and available to purchase.
The King's Lynn / Pott Row area
With its pretty village green and traditional butcher's shop, the tiny hamlet of Pott Row is idyllically located on the outskirts of the Roydon Common Nature Reserve. Composed of nearly 500 acres of heathland, fen, grassland and woodland this impressive area offers superb walking opportunities. The neighbouring hamlets of Grimston, Roydon and Congham are home to a selection of good pubs, whilst nearby Middleton Hall Golf Club offers visitors a chance to try out its 18-hole course. The 12th Century Castle Rising, built by William II and modelled on the keep at Norwich Castle, is close by, as is Babingley River, a haven for nature lovers with a fascinating circular walk. Sandringham is a mere five miles away and well worth visiting, whilst the medieval port town of Kings Lynn provides winding streets and a host of shops, pubs and restaurants. Also within easy driving distance is pretty resort town of Hunstanton - renowned for its lovely beaches.

Pott Row is a very central position for exploring Norfolk. There are many great walking opportunities. Sandringham is a must if you like houses and the dog walking there is excellent. Willow Sunrise a very comfortable home-from-home.
