The East Anglia / Norfolk region
Picturesque clusters of stone cottages, rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers unspoilt beaches, saltmarshes, picturesque cliffs, and quaint flint villages. The pretty, popular resorts of Blakeney & Wells form part of the largest coastal nature reserve in England and Wales, where you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of common and grey seals, along with abundant birdlife.
Families can enjoy the popular tourist resort of Great Yarmouth, enjoy the thrills and spills at Pleasurewood Hills theme park, or roam the cycle paths and sculpture trail at Thetford Forest (not forgetting the‘Go Ape’ high wire adventure centre in the heart of the forest). Cromer is well known for its pier and crabs, or how about Sheringham, from where you can ride on a steam train to the delightful town of Holt, with its specialist shops and charming market place? Equally as charming are the coastline and countryside of Suffolk.
Historic sites such as Sutton Hoo and Framlington Castle sit alongside museums, high-wire adventure trails, beautiful gardens and bustling market towns, amidst lovely countryside with plentiful walking and cycle paths. The coastline of the area is popular with families, and the whole region has a very strong arts movement, with plenty of work by local artists on display and available to purchase.
The King's Lynn / Long Sutton area
Situated in south-east Lincolnshire and close to the borders of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk is the charming small market town of Long Sutton. This settlement is full of architecturally interesting buildings including St Mary's Church, which dates from around1170 and boasts the highest wooden spire in the country. The town also boasts some fine examples of Georgian architecture. Every Friday there is a traditional town market with stalls run by local traders and close by is the renowned butterfly and wildlife park – repeatedly voted Lincolnshire's Family Attraction of the Year - which features an impressive tropical house filled with hundreds of butterflies. Set between three counties, this lovely town is well situated for exploring Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

,We were made welcome and the owners were very pleasant. They were available if needed. The large bed was very comfortable and we had a very good nights sleep. Would recommend this lovely property if visiting this area around Long Sutton. There are very good roads with plenty to see and visit.
