Creighan cottage is situated on Cruit Island - an area of outstanding natural beauty boasting 8 beaches and its own 9 hole golf course.

The cottage has a large kitchen diner, utility, living room, 2 bathrooms and 4 well proportioned bedrooms, sleeping 9 comfortably (additional travel cot provided).

Completed in March 2008 the property has fabulous sea views and is beautifully decorated to a high standard. The cottage contains all mod cons to ensure an enjoyable, relaxing visit to this stunning part of the world!

The Donegal region

Donegal has long been known as a holiday destination with much to offer no matter what type of holiday you are after - It truely is a place that can satisfy everyone!

If it is a relaxing holiday you are after why not take a drive along one of the many scenic routes throughout the county stopping of at one of the national parks such as Gleanveagh National Park. Or explore the many unspoilt beaches.

For the more active holiday maker Donegal has much to offer, described as an Anglers paradise with both deep sea fishing and many well stocked lakes to explore. Surfers are also well catered for with Carrickfin beach (only 20min drive from Creighan Cottage) proving popular.

For those of you who enjoy the craic you won't be disappointed as Donegal plays host to many festivals over the summer months including The Mary of Dungloe Festival and the Kincasslagh festival - made famous by local son Daniel O'Donnell all within easy access of Cruit Island.

Creighan cottage is situated on Cruit Island an area of outstanding natural beauty boasting 8 beaches and its own 9 hole golf course.

The Island is reached by a short bridge from the mainland which is open all year round and is an excellent base for those wishing to get away from it all or use it as a base to explore the greater Donegal Area.

For the more adventurous visitor there are many opportunities to indulge your more active side with surfing, fishing and golf all available within a stones throw of the property!
