This property was absolutely perfect, our children had an amazing time playing in the vast grounds, which were safe and secure. The grounds and cottage are immaculate. Its home away from home with a quaint country feel. We were made feel so welcome when greeted at the cottage when we arrived. The cottage has everything you could need. Its a great central location for many excursions. It has amazing views and we had a fabulous time and will definitely be going back. Kilmore Quay, Hook Lighthouse and the many beaches are a must see. Response: Thank you for taking the time to review- its marvellous to get feedback. We put a lot of care into making sure that the house is pristine for each guests' arrival and that the grounds are well maintained ,colourful and interesting reflecting a typical period country residence - and hopefully our various picnic spots inspire restful hours with good cheeses and a glass or two of prosecco! Our own children are 7 and 5 yrs so it is important for us that we know that they are safe and happy in the cottage and grounds. I have a background in interior design so its design and character are important for us and our own regular visits to Scar Bridge Cottage ensure that for own comfort it is well equipped and cosy. Hopefully our own needs match yours! We'd love to welcome you back anytime - winter too is good with the large open fire and aga taking centre stage alongside the numerous local restaurants/pubs and refreshing beach walks !Not to forget The world famous opera Festival Many thanks again for your kind comments- much appreciated |
