The Galway / County Clare / County Clare region

Clare has many fantastic sights such as the Aliwee Caves, the Burren and of course the Cliffs of Moher.

Kilmihil is also just a half hours drive form Clare's biggest town Ennis.

Kilmihil is just 20 minutes from Miltown Malbay were the famous traditional music festival the Willie Clancy in July!


Kilmihil area

Kilmihil is a friendly rural town. Their is a great night life and great amenities. Their are fantastic walks and fishing.

Every year in Kilmihil their is a fantastic cultural festival on the august bank holiday weekend. Its has such things as raft racing, fireworks and a cultural parade on the Monday!

Their is also a church, 3 major supermarkets, a chemist and a post office.

Kiltumper Cottage is 40mins from Shannon Airport, via Ennis town. From Ennis take the N68 Kilrush Road.

Drive 15 miles (22km) until you come to a crossroad with a sign for Kilmihil, take a right turn after the crossroads bar and drive 2 miles (3.5km) through the village.

After Topaz petrol station take first right. Continue through main street Kilmihil.

Take first right outside the village. Continue straight for two miles and take left at second four crossroad. Kiltumper cottage is second house on the left.
