"A lovely little cottage"

The cottage is just outside the village and overlooks fields with horses grazing in the distance. It is very quie and peaceful. The owner Willie met us and was very welcoming and helpful. The weather was very cool during our visit so we enjoyed using the wood and peat fire at night.
The free wifi worked well and there was a range of television stations available. The kitchen is very basic but we managed to cook dinner each night.

"Loved starting each morning by the fire"

We had the pleasure of a full week's stay in Wild Rose Cottage, and wished we could spend a week more. The cottage is clean, cozy, and quiet, and features everything we needed for a comfortable and restorative vacation. It proved a good jumping off point to explore historic Donegal town, Maghera Beach, Killybegs, and more -- and nearby St. John's Point is a beautiful and inspiring place to visit, jutting five miles out into the bay. Prefer a day off with no driving? Just walk out the cottage door and explore the immediate area. You're likely to meet a friendly neighbor or two out taking a walk themselves. Our favorite restaurants: La Bella Donna - delicious Italian cuisine; Chandpur - great fresh Indian food to eat in or take out; and Mary Murrins - several notches above your standard pub grub.) Wild Rose Cottage is a charming place for a getaway -- and we'll certainly be back.

"Donegal is cool (fantastic)"

We spend two wonderful weeks in the cottage. Willies support when there are questions is excellent at any time.
Inside the cottage you'll find all things you need and the folder with all info about the perimeter is fantastic to use. The SAT television programs are completely, because you get all European stations. And when it is not so – Willie will save this with another Satelite. :-)
Thank you Jennifer
